During a morning rush hours, the MRT was packed. There was a young couple (non-local) standing next to me. From their conversation, I know they are non-locals (probably PRC) and working adults. At one of the MRT's stop, the sitting guy alighted and to my suprise, the lady gave up the sit for her bf/hubby. I couldnt believe my eyes that it happened in Sillypore and I applauded her action.

Dont get me wrong. I aint promoting MCP, but we/men shouldnt give too much respect to our sillypore women till they shit on our heads. The women charter alone is enough to kill your life.

its rather typical that a man can do almost anything for the girl he fancies (not necessarily love), includes; quitting tobacco and/or alcohol consumption, kick the gambling and/or betting hobbies...etc.

whilst in the case of a girl, she's willing to accept all the inadequacies of the man she fancies, which means the guy neednt make any ammendments, cos she fancies him the way he is. though of cos, for some isolated cases, the changes the man chooses to make for her sake scores a few plus points.

however, the above mentioned hasnt really been proven accurate in sg's context. cos the gal has tendencies to demand the guy to make changes, to accomodate her, while she hardly budge from her default settings.

It is never easy to please a girl, especially a Singaporean girl. To be frank, I have done some of the things above in order to win her heart... Yet, I ended up a loser. I always have an option of giving up just like that or continue to hang on. But I chose the later, cos I do not want to live my later part of my life single and alone. I wonder how I can actually understand a girl's mind. Till now, I have yet to figure out.

The guy is not being dumb. One has to understand that guys willing to give and in is due to love and guys do understand what is meant by "enough is enough". On the other hand, if the girls think guys giving is means she can start wearing the pant and dictate the way of her guy, then think twice. Nothing is a must in a relationship.

fren, i think its no point trying to decipher the puzzle. 女人心海底深。todate, no author nor (PHD) doctor is able to provide the answer to a woman's heart.

i've always believed that when 2 r in love, they should both accept each others inadequacies as part of the package. kicking habits & stuff r just very minute gestures, demonstrating the extense of one's affection for the other. none is ever perfect, just hang loose & be yourself.

in other words, its just give & take... and it has to be balanced. if the guy gives profusely, while the girl takes without batting an eyelid, then something's not right.

likewise, if the gal submits too much to the guy's demands, things aint healthy either.

What you say is true but one must not forget that even if inadequacies are tolerated in a relationship, that does not mean they can be accepted. There must always be room for improvement for a relationship to grow and become more meaningful.

i love my girl but it seems like im the only one who loves. Must shower money attention love everything on her, and yet still be satisfied by whatever little tiny bit of appreciation she shows to me, if she feels like it. bro, i have similar experience as you.. the feeling is shitt lohh.. i deeply understand... however, i choose to end all this shit when i realise she got attached behind my back, w/o letting me knowing all this. it's seem i'm the last one to know in this world. it was her best friz who inform me abt she being attached..
