Try to change in SG rather in Thailand. Both Chiang Mai & Bkk offered 22.8 to 22.87. I read the Bangkok Post, the baht has appreciated by 13% since the beginning of this year & the dollar exchange was 33.14/17 on last Friday. Cheers.

no, I am not remitting so much.

anyway, I just came back from GM. I got problems sending the money as need to produce supporting documents (I think any transactions more than S$2k).
The remittance rate that I could get was only 22.83!

Compared with a remittance rate of 23.15 last Nov, my loss is about 3000 baht ..
