I thought Sama was pretty impressive during pre-season too especially against Spurs.
As long as Agger and Skrtel stay, there's no need for central defenders.
On the other hand, we need at least one more established left back to let Enrique rest.

Robinson is giving Enrique serious competition for that position..... BR is VERY impressed with Robinson.

Agger is injury prone and Carragher is past his prime.... he cannot compete at this level anymore and by playing him the team will be put at a disadvantage.
In a season long campaign.... just relying on Agger and Skrtel is not enough as there will bound to be injuries and suspensions over the long run.

It is his physical constitution.... his ratings in the medical/physical is just borderline...... this means he cannot carry himself over the entire season without needing rest n recuperation periods.

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings

Positive results is more beautiful than slick passing football and possession...tts wat I foresee the failure of the gunners...yes we need finishing to achieve that .

Being Liverpool supporter is a level higher...giving time to us is just not right I still feel..instant results are...relying on history is overdue..wat history is there now since manure alrdy taking over us and I can't foresee we in the top 4 till a multi billionaire takes over us...

You'll still be we walk alone tough

Really? any source? I must have missed Rodgers praising Robinson.
Still think playing Kelly on the right and Johnson on the left is a better option than Robinson. Honestly I am not a fan of Rodgers so far cos all he has done well is a good PR job. He hasn't been honest with the future of some players and feels like another useless Yes man to the owners.

We still have Coates, Kelly(original CB), Wilson, Sama who are adequate and I say give them a chance. Against Gomel, Carra looked to be on top form again, was very pleasing to see and hope he can continue such form when called upon.
With funds not as much as we were told, must prioritise on our weakest positions. Against Gomel, our attack and midfield were horrible. Don't think Suarez and Carroll can change that on a regular basis.
Positive was that Borini was very mobile but never got the ball enough.

I know the game against Gomel shouldn't be the best way to judge but if the team plays like that every week, might as well have kept Roy Hodgson.

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings

Yes, I agree that Roy Hodgson was poor tactically and also in the market as well. Never knew what he saw in Konchesky and Poulsen, while both eventually left the club as well.

Anyway, Brendan Rodgers is the current manager so let's concentrate on him instead of past managers.

We need to increase our attacking options, especially in the wide areas. We are not gonna play with Downing and Joe Cole for every match, right? There will surely be injuries, suspensions etc. Bellamy and Sterling is too old and young respectively to last 90 minutes in every game.

We have Borini, Suarez and Carroll (for now) to compete for the lone striking position.

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings

whatever said and done, Roy Evans did some damage control from Souness.
Anyways don't take my Hodgson comment literally. It was meant as a metaphor of supporting a club with zero direction.
We don't even know who is going to be playing for the club and the season is 2 weeks away?

manager rodgers seems not to managing a team to challenge for titles or wins but seem to be making moves like we are a team avoiding relegation !!!!
reports from talksport

"Brendan Rodgers is preparing to enter the loan market as he seeks to strengthen his Liverpool squad."

Thank you for your kind comments
yup like bro Dirk Kuyt mentioned it has been tough. Funnily even Man City are having trouble in the market.

besides saying no to the owners to hire a DOF, I feel he hasn't been securing our current players to long term deals. For example, he has yet to speak to Agger despite saying it's his priority. Saying things like Carroll and Aquilani have futures but looking for buyers instead.

I don't know how to feel anymore, I love this club a lot for the last 22 years or so, and it just doesn't feel the same anymore.
Against Gomel when the players did not acknowledge the fans, Ged Poynton actually told them "noone forced you to travel here" when fans were upset.
The one thing that kept fans together as well was a special bond. these days fans turn on each other, its like supporting Chelski where that's a trend.
Things have changed, I wish they din have to for LFC.

YNWA everyone, enjoy the season ahead.
