Can say that I being a veteran or old hand in KC and dating viet girls from pub/ktv do also meet my match several times. There are few viet girls I was crazy about. Luckily during the cheonging days, I had a whole big group of SBF bros from the All Vietnam Related TCSS thread that we support each other.

Those times until 2am+, go down coffeeshop to have supper, or walk a bit to have the hor fun or frogs legs.

I also prefer SSG. Not quite a Viet fan. Too Commando for me. The life of cheonging, my Viet encounter well within 10 fingers. Whereas the ATB, should be 百人斩＋

Viets are ok for me, but being unable to communicate smoothly was a barrier.
Once met a viet at another small ktv at geylang, she was a chinese translator. Besides can tell chinese is not her first language, her chinese was very good. She was in full length dress, told me I was her first customer in sg, and she was very nervous.
Later brought her for supper, after go 7-11. She see everything say very expensive, ask me if can buy a $6 chocolate for her.
Bought for her and she was very happy.

Days later she called me and I met up with her again.
All I can say, she adapted very quickly to new life.

You just missed a gem if you didn't makan her on her day 1.
She either needed to adapt super fast or she would be either miserable or found her way home. Most would adapt fast as they carried a big load of debts to pay off.
