Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings

Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish bemoaned his side’s luck after they concluded their disappointing season with a 1-0 defeat away to Swansea.

Danny Graham’s 86th-minute winner condemned the Reds to their 14th defeat of the league campaign, leaving them in eighth place in the Premier League.

However, Dalglish told the post-match press conference that he felt the scoreline was harsh on his side.

"I think after the second-half performance, the players didn't deserve what they got - the least they deserved was to come away with a draw,” he said.

"Even right at the death when there was a collision between their goalkeeper and two defenders, the ball still didn't even drop for Luis [Suarez]."

The Scot insisted that his team’s poor league results this season are not a true reflection of their performances, and feels that they are heading in the right direction.

"We've just got to keep - and the players have kept - believing what they're doing to be correct,” he continued.

“The passing and the moving has at times been excellent. We've just got to keep going and maybe next year the luck will drop in for us.”

"We won’t run away from the points tally or hide or say the points tally is satisfactory to anyone who works for or supports Liverpool Football Club. We will face up to reality. The performances have been excellent in a lot of cases but not the points tally, so we will try our best to correct that."

Dalglish also reacted angrily to media speculation that he could be replaced by Wigan’s Roberto Martinez in the Anfield hotseat, stating: "I expect the owners to have more dignity and integrity than to believe a story in a newspaper."

Sad to say that alot of players are still living on the past glory

No point saying we should be in the top four where they are not performing

Time had changed as the gap between the elite team and the so call average team had been narrowing so start forget we are used to be n perform like a team like the rest

I'm particularly sad n admire Everton as they always able to get good player with their tight budget
Moyes had done a great job

Talking It truly is a funny old game!

Wat a nite chaps...my oh my, looks like fergie is experiencing wat i felt 23 yrs ago at anfield, 26 May 1989 to be precise...reds v gooners...thomas scores in stoppage time to give arsenal the title...i literally cried buckets of tears...never tot i wld c such a moment agn till last nite...unbelievable roy of the rovers moment...tat stupid twat harry redknapp told fergie he had won #20 only for old whiskey nose to find out in the dressing rm tat it was his noisy neighbour who had won instead afterall...just gotta luv the game of football...

As for our beloved reds...think it is time for the analogue manager to go as he does not seem to fit into tdy's digital world of football...FSG, Henry n Werner hv alot of v serious decisions to make over the summer...really hope they get it rt, so tat it wont be the case of yet another season of 1 step fwd 2 steps bkwards...btw i am not in favour of rafa returning...if kenny is to go, which he sld, then i wld like to c a fresh face...

omnia, love the Roy of the Rovers reference.

personally I think 89 was a worse feeling for Liverpool than 2012 for Manure because we went into that game as favourites and to lose at Anfield!

Oh silly Macca will always be remembered for that "1 minute" sign.

one of my wishes for next season would be for Carroll to show up for a full season.

more of this please Big Andy!

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings

who can imagine Bolton and Blackburn to be relegated?

when Middlesboro went down few years ago...they are still in the wilderness...

yesterday, Man City was minutes away from losing the trophy...but my prediction still came true...what arse luck Man City had...they have really big game players who knew what to do...

Fergie disciple Mark Hughes tried to help Sir Alex...but no avail...

to be fair, Mark Hughes has been one of the few former Mancs who never gave in to Fuckerson's nonsense.

anyone found it funny when Cisse celebrated with Citeh? haha

not to forget, Villareal got relegated in Spain too, they were such a good side few years back and still have some quality players.

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings

Well have fun guys but don't gloat too much. Fergie has been in this position before - he also lost the title to Kenny's Rovers on the last day of the season. Scum will be back.

I'm concerned that with a pretty average team, they still got 89 points and were 2 mins from being champions again.

I think Chelski will be Citeh's main rivals next season, I expect Chelski to spend the most this summer and get rid of some of their "deadweight".

overally credit to Manure cos of what they been achieving with an ordinary team.
if rumors are right, looks like Baines, Hazard and even Cabaye are set to join Manure while Liverpool go for bosman players from Wigan
