Nobody is surprised by the result, I think most Man Utd supporters would also have been ready for a loss, I know I was.
It would have been a surprise if we won.
RatCliffe not even giving ETH vote of confidence. I blame Ratcliffe for stating early on that not expecting ETH and Man Utd to achieve much this season or the next, I was so wtf when he said that.
So ETH took his words and went with it.
I came across some interesting stats at BBC soccer.
Prior to Aston Villa match, ETH has actually gotten 1 more point than SAF in same number of games.
But ETH has spent the most so far, with very little to show for it.
Even if we win the FA Cup again this season, will it be worth it being so mediocre in the EPL ?
I think ETH has shown in glimpses he knows how to get Man Utd into high gear, but seems that it is not how he wants to play, and he goes on a My Way or High Way streak.
Sometimes it feels like he is managing Man Utd as tho he was playing Championship Manager....
But there is no start new game...
Re: Manchester United's Headliners, Articles and Rumours
Botak gives a very interesting "excuse" after the match, which I think only he can think of.
He also mentioned that the fact the team didn't concede any goals shows they got somewhat good ball control....LOL.
"One day, it will click !!"

Re: Manchester United's Headliners, Articles and Rumours
man u came away with a point, its better than nothing, here are some thoughts:
- both teams stuck in first gear after their EU games, rather boring game with some action here and there but nv sparked to life
- man u buildup play was ok but the final pass/thru ball to the open teammate was really disappointing. also, after the subs came on, the attack became more disjointed
- i felt villa attacking play was better, good thing that they lacked finishing
- rashford was lucky not to get sent off, suddenly got red mist and committed fouls in succession
- injury curse strikes again with maguire and mazraoui coming off, defensive resources gonna get stretched thin
- ETH doesn't have a settled side and claims that rotation is necessary, constantly chopping and changing can affect the form and momentum
- next match at home vs brentford, man u cannot be slow off the blocks and fall prey to brentford smash n grab tactic

Precisely ...everyone expected them to lose, not only that but thrashed by villa 0-3 again...the fact that he was able to nick a draw is a big deal to him but to fans it is nowhere good enough...he can only boast when he wins nothing less but truth be told he could hv won if Bruno's free quick got into the net....if they won that way it is by fluke not skill
Re: Manchester United's Headliners, Articles and Rumours
Here is something interesting to cool the tempers flaring here.
If don't look closely, from far, really can pass off as botak.
Maybe botak can engage this chap as clone so he can avoid being attacked by Man U fans after losing.

Where Gilmour and Folorunsho are yet to start a league game, McTominay already looks indispensable. His work ethic alone marks him out as Conte’s kind of player, having covered more distance in all three of his starts than anyone else on the pitch. The sample size is tiny, but Serie A’s official data puts him first in the league, averaging 11.91km per game.
He has done much more than just run. Among the most encouraging aspects of McTominay’s bright start is how quickly he has found understanding with his teammates Both of his goals arrived from Lukaku assists after he occupied spaces the centre-forward left open by moving away from the penalty box.
Sold off a mighty good player with Man U blood in him.
Pay top dollars for a bunch of lazy bums.
It is not that McTominay is no good, is that managers dunno how to play him in his best position.
He is that false 9 or striker foil, always hungry to go up for goals and create openings for his teammates.

So much agreed. Was sad that he was sold for the homegrown profit. He was what they needed to transition to the progressive attacking football that ETH envisioned. Instead now we are stuck with pivoting the team around captain bruno who seems more suited to the counter attacking style that ole implemented where he got more room and opportunities to ping passes. This season looks bleak sadly
Re: Manchester United's Headliners, Articles and Rumours
BOTAK HAS LIMITED TACTICS AND MOST EPL MANAGERS HAVE SEEN THROUGH IT WHICH IS WHY THE TEAM IS PLAYING SO POORLY .....
