Pls dun zap...
Just gotten a call from PRC claimming to be doing a survey on water quality?
Find this very strange, I guess because call has no number, sounds like a VOIP call & can't speak english.
Poly student whether PRC or local should be able to speak english rite?
Just to confirm or warn bros out there...

They are calling from those companies selling those household water purifiers one (those Diamond brand or what have you).....I got a similar calls. After talking for a while they will try to sell you one

haha...i wonder if next will be those condom companies...first they have the super nice voice gals doing the surveys on our sex lifes topple with some little sweet talks, then of course asking you to buy their condoms.

of course, if you buy in bulk, you might have a chance to strike a deal with the sweet voice for a free one-on-one product trial session...

Well I got one call which claims from HK, but the caller sounded either PRC or Taiwanese. Scam should be. Just now they called again.

Wonder how they get our numbers...maybe those we bonked previously sell them our numbers...best to get a pre-paid card!

it is a well known scam and they will call you a few days later saying you have won a prize and then need to TT admin fee, what the fuck they think all singaporeans really so stupid...i normally fuck them off with the most colorful adjectives i can find for profanity...

some times it is from those biz cards you drop off in a shopping center or a restuarant etc...this are sold to data collection companies...then there are those that try to scam you especially if you have posted your contacts on website, in particular trade sites...i keep getting all these calls from these pple claiming to represent investment companies and recommending certain stocks...don't believe them for a minute! this is nothing but a scam, how i know, cos once i was a sucker before lost USD10K on such a scam!!!!

i got 1 similar call yesterday. then the number is like from overseas. asking me to do HP survey.

then keep asking for my full name and stuff. she told me she's from china.

dunnoe what are they up to? to be safe i just hang up.

I myself have also received a lot of such calls... and most of the callers claim they are from different part of the world (China, Hong Kong, Spain, US) although some of their accents are questionable. I usually just said "I'm not interested" and hang up before they can say the second sentence.

I heard one of my friends said that other than your namecards and contact being taken from Internet. (Like bro Frankenstine said). Even your contact on those lucky draws are not safe.

Anyone can confirm this?

Cannot be Diamond as they normally have booths in shopping arcade & they do not use PRC for retail

I not saying its Diamond I mean its those similar type of water purifiers.....pardon me but I thot Diamnond use PRC for door to door sales? Maybe confuse with another brand

Me too.most call from china. for local most like bank n visa card, alway say get contact from my fren or so n so
