Indonesia confirms female national arrested in Malaysia

JAKARTA (REUTERS) – Indonesia’s Foreign Ministry on Thursday (Feb 16) confirmed that a female national had been arrested in Malaysia in connection with the killing of a North Korean in Kuala Lumpur.

Kim Jong Nam, the estranged older half-brother of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, was killed in an apparent assassination on Monday at Kuala Lumpur international airport in the Malaysian capital.

“Our embassy has verified the information received from Malaysian security authorities and based on preliminary data, the woman in question is an Indonesian citizen,” the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

The Indonesian embassy has requested consular access to the woman to provide legal assistance, it added.

Malaysian police on Thursday (Feb 16) confirmed that it had arrested a 25-year-old woman who was carrying an Indonesian passport. The woman's passport identified her as Siti Aishah and said she is from Serang, located west of Java island.

According to Malaysian police, the woman was positively identified from the CCTV footage at the airport, where Mr Kim was attacked, and that she was alone at the time of the arrest.

Selangor state police chief Datuk Abdul Samah said earlier the local magistrate court issued a seven-day remand order for the woman as well as another Vietnamese suspect arrested on Wednesday, whom the authorities said was also identified through CCTV footage from the airport.

〔編譯陳正健／綜合報導〕已故北韓領導人金正日的長子、現任領導人金正恩同父異母的兄長金正男 ，十三日在馬 來西亞遇刺身亡。大馬警方十五日逮捕一名持有越南身分文件的女性嫌犯，並持續追捕另外五名外籍 嫌犯。金正男 的死因目前眾說紛紜，其遺體已送往醫院化驗。專家推測，金正恩可能是因為金正男有意投誠，才會 痛下毒手。
向金噴不明液體 再用手帕摀臉

大馬警方透過吉隆坡機場監視器，十五日上午逮捕一名身穿胸前寫有「ＬＯＬ」字樣白色Ｔ恤、持越 南護照的二十 八歲女子段詩芳（Doan Thi Houng，譯音）。據稱段女在與同行的另一名女子對金正男臉部噴灑不明液體後，另外一名男子拿手帕摀住 他 的臉，但她向警方辯稱，以為只是惡作劇，不知道是殺人。不過，馬來西亞國家新聞社（Berna ma）報導， 被捕女子是緬甸人。也有報導指稱，兩女兼具越南和北韓國籍。

大馬全國副總警長諾拉昔（Noor Rashid Ibrahim）表示，警方正全力追緝其他嫌犯，據信均為外籍人士。警方共鎖定兩女四男共六名嫌犯，段女是 其中之一。也有報導指稱，兩名女刺客均已死亡，可能是自殺或遭人滅口。南韓國家情報院院長李炳 浩（Lee Byung-Ho）則向國會議員表示，金正恩殺害兄長為「長期計畫」，曾於二○一二年動手未果。金正男後來致函 金正恩， 要求饒過他與他的家人。
被捕女刺客稱惡作劇 不知殺人

金正男與第二個妻子在澳門受到中國政府保護，元配和兒子則待在北京。星馬媒體指出，金正男頻繁 往來星馬，是 因為在當地有情婦，他本欲與情婦會面，卻於情人節前夕遇害。北韓媒體迄今並未報導金正男死訊， 但美國政府消 息人士告訴路透，美方相信北韓是始作俑者。中國外交部發言人耿爽表示，將密切關切後續發展。日 本內閣官房長 官菅義偉也說，已在首相官邸召開「聯合情報會議」討論此事。
專家推測 金有意投誠才遭毒手

金正男的死因迄今仍眾說紛紜，普遍流傳毒針、毒液等說法。大馬匿名官員透露，金正男死前曾告訴 醫護人員，有 人從後方抓住他的臉，向他潑灑某種液體。《星洲網》則指出，他當時遭沾有不明液體的布套套住頭 部。大馬當局 已將金正男遺體送往化驗，北韓大使到場要求將金正男遺體送回北韓，但遭吉隆坡當局拒絕。

南韓首爾智庫世宗研究所專家鄭成長（Cheong Seong-Jang）指出，暗殺金正男不太可能未獲金正恩本人下令或批准。據稱金正男早於二○一二年就有意向歐盟 、美 國或南韓投誠，可能因此種下殺機。
