Serious Emperor Hirohito announced Japan's surrender on this day
An honorable member of the Coffee Shop Has Just Posted the Following:
On this day, 15th August 1945 Emperor Hirohito announced to his people Japan's unconditional surrender after she got hit with two atomic bombs which flattened Hiroshima & Nagasaki on the 6th & 9th Aug, and Soviet Union's declaration of war against Japan in the morning of 15th Aug.
