My Europe trip

I was away to Europe from 2nd July to 25th July for business trip and leisure and I had lotsa fun there. met few great guys over a few countries and I am missing them now.

I took off to Germany first and the long flight made me so jet lag after I touched down. I immediately went to sleep after checking in. I slept like 6 hours before getting up in the evening and getting hungry. Ordered some food from Room service and went to shower. Got my food after my shower and gobbled up the food like a hungry ghost as I was famished.

Felt bored after my dinner, I decided to take a walk outside and embraced the different surrounding. I walked into a bar and was captivated by the ambience of the small bar with only a few patrons. Ordered a glass of wine and enjoyed the music played by the band.

I was getting bored just drinking alone and was about to leave when a couple ( presumably Asian) came by and asked whether could they share the same table. I thought why not and offered then the seats. They thanked me profusely and kept nodding their heads and I realised they are Japanese.

Husband and wife look so much incompatible as they belong to two different world. Wife( Maya) looks like a typical housewife while the husband ( Tanaka) looks like someone in the fashion industry. They were in Germany for their 20th wedding anniversary.

We chatted together and came to know them more. When Maya excused herself to go to the washroom, Tanaka chatted with me about themselves. But he said he was already getting tired of Maya as they were married for so long and this trip was to rekindle the fire, unfortunately it failed.

When Maya came back, he acted like a warm husband again and she wanted to leave already. But Tanaka said he wanted to stay for a while more and they quarreled in front of me. I took the chance to go to the washroom.

When I got back to the table, Maya was sitting alone and I asked her whether she was alright and where was Tanaka. She said it's common for them to quarrel and he had gone outside for a smoke. So I said my goodbye to maya and left the bar.
After getting out of the bar, I saw tanaka smoking at the pavement and I waved good bye to him. He smiled back and told me to wait for him. He came over and asked me whether wana have another drink at another bar along the road. I told him Maya was still waiting for him in the bar but he replied he would go in and asked her to return to their hotel room first. I said it wasnt a good idea but he just zoomed into the bar and came out of the bar quick enough and said we are good to go. I was waiting for maya to come out but she did not, worrying for her i told tanaka I wanted to go to the washroom in the bar and I went into the bar to search for Maya for fearing she would be crying.

I went into the bar and saw some guys sitting beside maya and chatting happily with her. I went over to her and told her to be careful and she smiled and said ok before I left the bar to meet her husband, I told tanaka he should bring her back to their room but he assured me that maya can managed. So he led me to another bar, which is more crowded but has a room which is less noisy. he ordered a bottle of wine and we sat on the high stool at the corner of the room and chatted. Came to know that he is actually a Michelin-chef in Japan.

I got warmed up to him after our conversation and he offered to cook for me one day but I told him not really possible as we do not have a kitchen available. He surprised me by bringing me to a restaurant which was closed. I saw him opened the door of the restaurant and he invited me in. I was thinking how the hell we could have trespassed but he assured me it would be fine.

He led me to the kitchen area of the restaurant and he took out ingredients and some meat from the fridge. I asked him was he serious in cooking those and he said yes, he would cook for me. I was worried as we were in unknown territory but he still assured me its gona be alright. And he went on to do the cooking.
