Singaporean Trafigura executive arrested in China

[SINGAPORE] A senior executive at Trafigura Beheer BV, the world's third-biggest independent oil trader, has been arrested.
Singapore said its Beijing Embassy was informed of the detention of Bo Li, who heads Trafigura's representative office in the Chinese capital. The Singaporean government said Saturday in an e-mail that it's in touch with Mr Li and his family and will continue to provide them with consular assistance.
Mr Li, a Singaporean, was arrested as part of a probe into gasoline trading, people familiar with the matter said Thursday. He was detained by officials from the Cangzhou Public Security Bureau at Beijing airport on Monday evening as he prepared to depart on a business trip to Singapore, according to one of the people.
