Too much sex equals a shorter life

Ancient TCM beliefs came to the conclusion that too much sexual activity would actually result in a shorter life. So unless we have self-destructive tendencies, we should, by all means, not pass the following limits:
•People in their 20s should not have sex more than once every four days
•People in their 30s should not have sex more than once every eight days
•People in their 40s should not have sex more than once every 16 days
•People in their 50s should not have sex more than once every 20 days

Those who are in their 60s first have to make sure they even have the strength to have sex. If they do, they should limit it to only once per month. Perhaps it would be advisable for those people to make a yearly calender, where they carefully pick the 12 days they can excitedly look forward to.

Younger people need to be especially cautious. “Those who indulge themselves in sexual activity will become senile in their fifties,” suggests the Nei Jing, an ancient Chinese medical text. Quite the statement, and one that certainly should not be taken lightly.

Now that we have covered the proper timing and frequency of our sexual activities, let's look at some other aspects that will confine our longings and passions.

When we feel that our emotions or environment are getting out of hand, it is a clear sign that we should stay away from sex. Having sex while angry can have terrible consequences, like imbalanced yin and yang and night sweating. So no more break-up sex... or make-up sex for that matter, since it also applies to the opposite end of extreme emotions.

Don't seek sex when you're tipsy or drunk – TCM believes that your liver will suffer if you do, and you might experience some “malignant boils” as well. Do they mean herpes? Well, even more reason not to have sex when intoxicated.

mai nonsense lah. No wonder Chinese considered 'sexless creatures' while those untainted by these unfounded rubbish beliefs (whites, blacks, hispanics, Japanese) having the time of their lives!

Last time I visited these countries, remember seeing a good number of old folks leh. Same same like Singapore.
Only pity is those old folks over there had their fun and enjoyed to the fullest while young and the old folks in SG or China (those who believe in BS) had way less of the enjoyment they could have when young.
Only left with limp dicks, saggy breasts and regrets.

All these claims are totally unfounded and if shown to the western doctors, I think they will only laugh at the size of your dick and sexual appetite.
Many people think Asians are sexless and these rubbish theories definitely add to this negative image.

actually i got different theory, fuck those 25 and below you will have longer life cos you will abosrb the youth and qi from them.....fuck those above 25 depends as some may suck the life out of you..pls don't zap me, it's just a theory

Actually, think about it. We know as a society, Japan is one of the more sexually open ones in the world. And yet the most long-lived people are also the Japanese.

That should put all those Chinese TCM superstitious rubbish in the trash.

There are many sexually old persons who lived longer, TS is quoting unconfirm sopurces.

If you lived happy u live longer, if you are sad every day whats the point of living longer even if you are 30 or 40.
