Re: China-Singapore visa-free agreement to take effect in April 17, 2011
note that its for civil officials only, for both countries. not relevant, at least to me. only thing I can see happening is the PRC officials come here and wreak havoc on the industry. ie. spoil market.

Re: China-Singapore visa-free agreement to take effect in April 17, 2011
its official, already annouced in the official chinese embassy website
Based on the translation terms that they used for "official", ordinary singapore passports are also official. So ordinary Chinese red passports can also come to SG without visas. So now anyone can come without visas for 30 days. So expect more PRC mei meis and aunties to ply their trade. SG women wil now sweat like crazy. Reason for this change, simple logic. Sinkapore has to promote use of RMB as likely chance that here in SG will be the next currency trading Hub for RMB after HK. Privilege to be the only 2 in the world. Expect SGD to raise against RMB. |
