have this old girlfriend re appearing in my life & i have told her im married. They both know each other. This old girlfriend has said okay to be the 2nd wife.

Anyone has approach the wife & ask whether can take another?

btw im chinese so no marriage contract can be drawn up.

Well to me you have half the battle won (old gf agreed).

Since they know each other, if I read you correctly, maybe try convincing your old gf to talk to your wife without your presence? Tell your old gf to "indemnify" you as if the idea cums from her and not you, and that she has bumped into you by chance and developed that feeling for you, and has not discussed with you. Paint a sob story like she's getting old and lonely without plan to look for another man, blah blah... see how she can benefit your wife with her in the house (e.g. can serve her, or bear you child if your wife can't, etc.).

Basically, let the women talk. If it fails, you can still claim innocent

TS, I once had a idealistic thinking as you. Thinking that we can live happily ever after under one roof. There was another topic that is quite similar to yours. There is a reply that shattered my ideal. How about one day, your wife came to you that he loved another man and hope you can accept him and live happily ever after under one root. That's what some bros here suggested in that topic. Women in our era are more egoistic. They are able to live without us men. Maybe we should live back in the olden days where women depends on men and men can have multiple wifes. Of course you might be a lucky guy. That is, both your wife and lover loves you so much that they can tolerate sharing one husband. But for how long, that's another question.
