Making out at parks in a tent

today my friend told me she once saw a Malay couple ( no offence to them ) hankypanking in side a tent that's not fully closed. She was doing CIP at ecp then.

since then she assumed all the tents pitched at parks to couples making out.

Is that considered illegal? wont the park ranger conduct permit checks?

No lah, the park ranger cannot conduct permit checks because he was the one inside the tent, or TENTS for that matter....

You can apply for a permit to pitch a tent within the approved area. Rangers will come check but you just need to show the permit. Yes, a lot of people have sex in tents. Tend to be the younger couples who can't afford Hotel81 or too young to be able to book a room. It's quite hot and uncomfortable to make love in a tent. Space is constrained and the floor is hard. It's exciting when you know adults and kids are just running around you while you are making love though.

Haha... Hmm.. Yup... Its quite common for couple to go picnic/tent and make out inside... Its a good way to save on hotel $ also... haha... but again, its the adventurous ba... Imagine halfway making out, and ppl knocking on your tent... as want to check id etc... I kanna before... :P

The law has been changed for some times already.....Now you don't need to apply any permit to pitch a tent in the sea side park. But those park rangers will still take note of your tent in the day and if they found that your tent has been there for more than a week, they'll do a spot-check on you. This is to prevent people from living like a squatters which will become an offence.

I suppose the checks aren't that frequent also right? if i just intend to stay for the most 30mins :X But i can't take any chances cos my Gf looks very young, i'm afraid the ranger might be to paranoid and call the cops on me or something ( not that i'm doing anything obscene or indescent ) but i just want to avoid getting into unnecessary trouble. neither do i want involve her parents.

Hi , care to share in detail how the check was conducted? Do they ask u for your IC or Permit or ask any other questions?

I suppose as a form of politeness they would call u out from the outside?

Have u stayed there for a long time when they came or they came as u were pitching the tent?

That's a wonderful piece of news, thanks for sharing. But i just read the National parks website that u still need to apply for a permit to tent. Perhaps a permit is only needed for certain places? Care to share with me the source of ur info?
