SINGAPORE: A fire is raging in the Tanjong Pagar Road area.

Channel NewsAsia received several calls about the fire, which apparently is affecting the pre-war shophouses in the area.

One caller said the fire started at Xin Tian De Karaoke Lounge which is along Tanjong Pagar Road itself.

The Civil Defence Force confirmed that it has received several calls and fire engines were dispatched to the area. - CNA

yes It started at Xin Tian De.....

I was at 50 Pub. So about ten Fire Engs came. First one came at 905pm.

All the gals run all over the place.

Small fire and become very big.

Initially 50 started to run but some how .................

According to the ST report, 4 fire engines were dispatched to the scene and the first one arrived at about 9.30pm.

Maybe "testlan" saw the 4 fire engines drive round and round looking for parking. Mistook for 10 engines. Damn thing look all alike, easy to confuse 4 for 10.

testlan saw 10 fire engine fighting fire. he saw a 'big fire' burning. he saw 50 started to run but some how.......

showhow, i guess his mother woke him from a dream that is quite close to actual happening last nite. did you dream of any winning 4D numbers to buy? share with all the bros here leh.

pls do not mislead the bros here by saying things that are not true. many ppl keep coming back to this forum bcos alot of bros can be trusted. dun be the black sheep!

So, i'd presume XTD will be out of business for quite a while huh?!?

XTD will still open for business as the fire which was suspected to have been caused by a short circuit, only destroyed 2 containers at the rooftop storing some documents and other items. The interior of the building itself was not affected.
