SBF forum's system works typically like singapore society?

I joined SBF since 2004 and have been a loyal fan here. I believe there are more people who got more reputation points than me through hardwork and contribution to this forum. However I made a mistake by FXXXing someone who insulted me on the forum. I realised my point got reversed to negative value?
I felt suprised as this seems to be very singaporean style of curbing things u dont want to happen again. I felt unfair as we are just judged by that single mistake and effort like 2000 points can become negative 2000 points.
Should SBF brothers be more forgiving. I am not a kid and I apologised for my action of using F word to that SBF samster.
Hope the rest of the negative pointers can rally this together ?

Don't worry bro, up your points. Just work your way up slowly. Points are kind of useless here. Even with 10,000 points, you won't be able to access the Private Section. Some other forums (especially PRC forums), you need certain number of points to access certain section, so points system makes more sense there.

Bro, since you are new, you should read through the Newbie forum, especially the sticky threads.

You DON'T need to leave your nick when using the Rep vote. You ONLY need to leave your nick to avoid being penalised if you are FUCKING (be it KNN, CCB, or whatever vulgarities you can think of) someone using the Rep Vote system.

Why are people here so concerned about the rep points and being in the negative zone again? This isn't the first thread which I have come across with regards to this topic.

The points here can do nothing. You cannot use it to exchange for NTUC vouchers, Link points, Credit Card points, Cash, or ANYTHING else. It's only a NUMBER. So why get so worked up over points? I simply cannot understand how a person who comes to a forum to read, share, etc is so concerned with points.

Why get so serious and worked up in the cyber world???

Thanks for the reminder sammyboyfor...i had read it a while ago. It was just that i had someone tell me who they were when they zapped me but several others who, naturally, had not.
