I tried out a new massage place and I thought I’d write a FR. I’m not 100% certain about the name, but I believe it is called Da Wan Hotel. It is located in Wang Fu Jing area. The hotel has a massage center in the basement. They offer a bath, a massage, and extra services. The bath is pretty crap – the saunas don’t even work. You just take a quick shower and that’s about it. The first time I went they tried to overcharge me with a towel which they charged 10 RMB and pajamas which were another 10 RMB. It is usually best if you just tell the guy that you want to skip the bath and head for the massage. Save yourself some time and money.
The massages that they offer are the normal ones for 200 RMB and full service ones for around 1000 RMB. There’s also something in between, like a breast massage + jerk for around 500 RMB.
That was the quoted rate that they gave me initially. However, I know the guys in charge better now and they’d be willing to give a discount if I give them a call. If any bros are interested just let me know.

I can’t really judge the girls since the massage room was dimmed, but I think they have around 6 ~ 8 girls that you can choose. You can keep rotating until you get one that you like. The place is pretty clean and it seemed legit. If you don’t feel comfortable enjoying the girl on their couch, they do offer to book you a room at the hotel for an additional 200 RMB.

Overall I don’t highly recommend this place, but at least it is one of the places that you can go to for a massage and a happy ending. When I tried to do that at the counter, I was told that only cards with the stupid 'Union' sign can be used! What the fuck! That means only China credit cards can be used.

I did not have enough cash and was taking of how to go about doing this when manager asked me to draw cash on the building across the road. He sent his security guard to accompany me.

Fortunately it was not a very cold night. I was pissed off and asked the security guard if this was common. He said it was, especially when foreigners do not have the 'Union' card. I told him that it was absurd that I had to do this and that the company should do something about it.

I left the facility an angry and dissatisfied man

However, one mistake I think that you made is that you agreed to the manager's price when he first mentioned it. You should never do that. Unless you know them well enough, you should insist on the most basic package (a normal massage) and then when the girl comes in she'll try to bargain. More often than not you'll manage to get the same service for 1/2 the price. The girl is usually pressured by her boss to make you select one of the more expensive services so that they can make more.
