Let me share on my view on Dim Sum.

Dim sum meaning A little bit of heart aka 点心 (I shall not go into the Silk Road story and it's origin )

Dim sum is best served in an unhurried morning/afternoon with a good pot of Chinese tea under a laidback & relexing ambience and decor with families, lovers and friends.

I do not like those late night "fast food" style Dim Sum joints cos these are really not great places for an unhurried Yum Cha session and they also lack the laidback ambience. These are so called "recharged energy" food after a nightout or bonking session
