If they're not expensive stuff and you just want to store it for the time you are away from Zhuhai - why not just put it in a luggage and ask your hotel to keep it for you in their left luggage storage? Any hotel will do this for you FOC as it means that you will for sure be back to rent a room again. In fact, you leave your stuff in a hotel room unattended, by the second or third day that the cleaning lady notices that you have not been back, she will either report it to management (and they will probably clear your room) - or worse, the cleaning lady would get her "friends" to help themselves to your stuff!! Just pack your glass bottles carefully/in between your clothes - something I'm sure you do when you pack your bags to check such in with the airlines. Yeah, it may have been OK at your present hotel - but things/security/trust etc are different, very different at the lower priced hotels. These usually only caters to the locals and as such, have "different" ways of thinking and operating....if you know what I mean!! SEAJ |

Re: Macau or Zhuhai
If you intend to stay a night at a good Macau or Zhuhai hotel when you return, then just book a room in advance, give them your booking reference, dump your stuff there and tell them you will be back to collect.

Zhuhai is nowadays a shadow of its former self with most "yellow activities" on stealth mode. I would suggest that if you want to get something, that you should still go down to Lian Hua Lu and walk towards the end; there are still usually some mommies and/or girls hanging about and all it takes is one look and they'll usually come up to you and enquire as to what's your pleasure. Good luck to you if you look like a gong-an though! LOL SEAJ |
