Actually, ACE "management" receives a lot of contributions from F&B, WL protection money, room rental, travel and visa arrangements .......they are worried that ACE could be a towering inferno if maintenance to the electrical supply system and lift systems are not done periodically. So it is a good move to prevent any mishaps that may affect our cheongsters and WL's there.

IMHO it is the collapse of the morals happening inside the rooms in ACE, not the ACE building itself
