Yes, confirmed LA Cafe is still around. I hwas there the lsat 2 nights. They have in fact expanded their business by taking over the place across the road.

Went to EDSA Entertainment Centre last night. The bars there are full of girls, and in my opinion, the best selection is at Firehouse, followed by Pittstop.

I spotted a SYT in Firehouse and the quote was barfine 1000pesos and the girl asked for 3000pesos (and that is not even overnight). She told me that is the standard market price in firehouse. I told her as much as I would like to take her out, they are asking for just too much.

I dun know is that is the standard market price in EDSA nowadays but it seems like they are over-pricing themselves. I am able to get ON in Ermita (LA Cafe, etc) for about 2000pesos. Was also able to get in Cafe Havana in Green Belt 2 for similar price.

Seems like nowadays there are more and more Koreans and Japanese visiting there....and possibly spoiling the market.

By the way, I was told that after Mayor Lim closed Baywalk, the pubs and cafes have shifted its operations to behind Mall of Asia and is getting pretty happening there. Any bros here can confirm on this ?

Hi Blursam,

I was at EDSA too yesterday.

Barfined 2 at Casino Bar and continued our drinking binge at a live entertainment outlet i forgot what name but it was behind Tia Maria in Adriatico.

Had 3some back in hotel, one left early which i paid her P2000, the other stayed the night and i was poorer by P3500 this morning.

You were probably quoted Korean / Japan rate by the girl, all the bars except Cotton Club in the barn are owned by the same owner.

Will be going EDSA again tonight but probably going to either Pitstop or B&A.

TT&N, got your PM... Manila and Angeles City (Pampanga) is about 4hrs apart by bus or 2hrs by car. I usually take a car from Manila to AC which cost abt P5000. In my opinion, AC is more happening than Manila because the girls in swim suits are all lined up on the main podium, dancing to the music for your pick... i can't find anything similar in Manila. Bro, seems like quite a distance from Manila to AC. Don't think I can make it as I have to work from AM to PM. Maybe my next trip I should plan a visit there. As I travel to Manila almost every month, probably we could meet up someday to cheong. Cheers dude....

Methinks that Manila is still a bit expensive especially the bars in Makati. It is cheaper than Singapore but still not enough bang for the buck. You could try heading up North to Angeles for a few nights before coming back.

Just my two cents worth.
