Just wondering if anyone can verify this. KTV gals serving local citizens (chinaman) are charging different rates from us foreigners. Example, we pay 3,7,10. But if you are a china citizen, you only pay 2,5,7. It applies to most KTVS like Yihao, Mayflower, etc.
Is this true?
This is definitely not true ... I had on few occasions party at most of the more popular KTVs in CP and the China men paid the same rates as us ...
Moreover as far as I know, most KTVs and gals dislike customers from their own country ... They will definitely not have rates that favor the locals and thus encouraging their patronage ... One reason being that most of them are cost conscious (aka stingy - no offence to some bros here who are on budget or etc) ... They are only interested in the bare minimum spending at the KTVs ... Thereby robbing the KTVs' opportunities of making more money ... Secondly, most locals are only interested in taking full advantage of the working gals within the confines of the KTV rooms with no intention of bringing them out for ST/LT ... Thus, most working gals (if not all) hate having to sit and entertain them ...

Agreed with what you said about the pricing. But most will bring them back for ST although the gals dislike it. If they don't, these locals will complain straight to the owners or management of these KTV - their local connections are stronger than ours.
Had the best trip in CP so far, thanks to the bros who showed and party with me at YH, HMTL,MF and afternoon at PZL...U guys are the best!!!
Thanks to FGG and a few bros bringing me around CP . It was lots of fun and many crazy party especially on Wednesday , we hop from MF than to YH , I was "black out" from 1am onwards
Some simple FR , would prefer YH for ktv , seem like the mms standard are better , they are having some Hawaii promotion with daily lucky draw , we got a few prizes including a 600 rmb cash voucher .
Also went to eat and Sam's newly open restaurant , bro who like Cantonese cuisine and prefer non spicy must try this place

I guess it is more like the locals not easy to get chop......which indirectly means we sinkes n boleh abangs easier to chop. And locals have no qualms abt complaining coz they know how n where to do it. But we go there tour n be happy many thinngs keep eyes close.
I do agree abt trea tment of the gals bah.....i dunno.....yet to see rough treatments of gals. But i know they dun like when on certain occasions i press their boobs. I say be nice to the chicks but dun be too nice.

Want to ask is there any affordable hotels in CP that have round bath tubs?
And if buy 3g sim cards in hong kong can be used in CP or have to go CP then buy?
Any advice will be appreciated.
