yes they are, pretty nice rooms just that its abit out of vicinity, as in go out only is highway, got to get a cab unless u know how to walk to the BTS, which isnt really that far, about 10 mins? stayed there when i was up in june. nice place for a good price i would say. and breakfast there is good  just a reminder, most taxi drivers dunno where is bangkok city, remmeber to tell em the actually address, yaoMarat petburi soi 1(neung) NOT YaoWarat hor! if not u will end up @ the other side of bangkok... hahahah

Hey bro ,if on shoestring and as i see it,your main purpose is the food and the babes than why not head out to pattaya instead ?
from airport,new bus service to pattaya from bus transport centre about 120 bht at 9am and 3 pm.Alternaively you can hop a cab for about 1200bht. In pattaya in about 2 hrs . Lots of hotels to choose from,your budget of 500bht will get you a much nicer room in pattaya with cable tv,aircon and all the perks. A lot of good and cheap food around.Great buffet breakfast(goes on till aft) at Lek and Apex hotel which is about 99 bht and will last you till evening should you want to. A lot of good steakhouses catering to caucasians with 99 bht promotions as well. Plus generally a lot of outlets catering to just about any taste at low prices.You can even try the Thai food along soi bukhaow . Ok the gals;go fo FLs in Lucifer,Tony's or Marine,LT 1000bht or ST 500Bht.My advise go for ST and change to LT if you like her. Way more gals than guys so you have the pick of the lot . Otherwise pick up a Bargirl from the hundreds of bars around with simply thousands of gals. Same deal with a barfine of about 200 to 400 depending on the bar extra. Transport using the baht buses is about 10 bht . I reckon you could bonk everyday ,have good buffets and stay in a nice place all at not more than 500 sing for four days.Plus you can chill out on the beach during the day or go watch a movie,eat at swensons .

Thank you for all who posted to help me. I KIV Bangkok for the time being until I have save up more, instead me and friends going to Hatyai. Much cheaper and we are taking coach up. Any Hatyai experts?
