There are over 200K migrants workers. Probably a majority of them have been infected and we are just uncovering these cases. Some of these may have recovered but will still be tested positive. I m not surprised by end May, we hit 30K cases. Numbers will increase according to the capacity of the testings.

More important is the unlinked case number is trending downwards in the sub ten figure. Hopefully, in the next 2 weeks, this number will become zero.

Only so much can be isolated. Plus I believe many of the tested positive migrant workers don't show symptoms. So now the number up but in actual fact they might already been infected before the Dom lockdown.

After 5 weeks, they say only 5%+ of the FW in dorm were tested. Yielded about 15k cases? How can it be since we only have 300k+ FW?

That’s a possibility. Actually a lot of Sinkies are also probably carriers just asymptomatic or have recovered quickly.

Let’s get pragmatic.. this covid is here to stay until vaccine is found, if any.
After a while, all will succumb to accepting fate and taking the risk to live life normally to have that quality of living. We Humans r made for taking risks. Flying around for holiday has its risk of plane crashes yet peeps still pay to enjoy.

Just accept reality and get on with living correctly as a human, since end day all will be the same denominator.

Singaporean stay at home and the figure coming down but there are 300k FW and daily 3 figure infection mostly from foreign dorm. 5 weeks only a small percentage are tested i think by end june it is possible we will hit 30000 cases

So waiting list to be tested FW are not place on isolation and by the time clear all the backlog 50k is also possible

300K are only those FWs from India & Bangladesh..... if you include those from Philippines, PRC, Thailand & Myanmar....... the number rises to around 590K. And add to that another 400K from our northern neighbours that cross the borders daily before MCO....... it is almost 1m of FWs in SGP.

Our small medical industries cannot produce enough testkits to test everyone. That is why we are desparately trying to buying more from overseas.

I hope by then he can shut the mouth of those who kong wu kong bo because many seem talking about want extend the CB due to case cannot decrease.

CB will be extended to mid june - 2 week extension from June 1 cutoff.
