The best transit hotel with block timings for booking is:

Lion City Hotel
15 Tanjong Katong Road
Tel: 67448111

Day Use: 12.00 noon - 6.00pm
Night Use: 7.00 pm - 12.00 midnite
Night Owl Use: 12.00 midnite - 8.00 am

Rates: $46++ or $55++ . The difference in rates is either you book old rooms or new rooms. I would recommend new rooms, very nice and comfortable with in room Wi-Fi internet.

I just got a new FB (finally), last week we went to fragrance hotel near Little India (which i thought wont check, cos last year i went there they never asked for it) and she kana check IC, damn paiseh for her and she don wanna go back to that one anymore.

So im hoping to find one that wont check 2nd then she wont feel so paiseh...

Transit offered from 12pm to 6pm. Nice area and environment.
Discreet as there is a basement carpark Link to room level. Dun need card access. Offered at $75. Can check out more detail online in their website.

Just discovered another economical hotel to share. It is called Sloane Court Hotel at 17 Balmoral Road. Tel: 62353311. Though a bit old, the rooms are comfortable and homely. Rates start from $62 per day.

Its restaurant serves very good western food especially ox tail soup.

Lion City Hotel will b closing down in August i think. Had a chat with the front desk the other day.
Also called up Paramount hotel, Hotel Re!, Broadway HOtel (all these hotels do not provide day rates). Siannzzz.
