It's my own preference not to dine at roadside stalls and food as they are not to my liking. There is nothing wrong with that.

U get to see so many people dining at S&P/MK/Daidomon/Oishi and all those restaurants everyday. Why u need to compare urself to the lower income people of bangkok?

People earn 6000baht so eat at roadside daily,drink plain water and stuff like that. People who are AVERAGE income earners dine at oishi/MK or stuff like that. what i am spending is considered average income earners what.
