I did go for a 10 2.5hour basic viet lesson but after which when I speak to some of the girls, I was ridiculed for not pronouncing correctly.

I had a gf then and I sms her in vn and told her to sms in english so we learn from each other. She however sms me in vn and I have to rack my brains up to just understand 1 sms. It took a week or two to understand.

Dear sifus, I want to send an sms to my gf: "Remember to bring your ID when you come to the hotel".

I only know that "Remember = nho", "bring = mang" and "hotel = khach san",
but I don't know how to write "ID" in Vietnamese.

Can any senior help me? Better still, if can write for me the entire sms in Vietnamese.

chung minh = identity

technically ID means giay chung ming where giay is paper.

mang can be used but dem is more colloquial as it translate to take in english.

a few bro go thru the same path of learning as you as in attended some class before....i.e Adguy, jackbl, myself...

most bro also go thru the unconventional way of learning TV from many girlfriends in gl/jc/vn

but i really "pei fu" one bro who don't know TV but have to be posted to vn to work. due to work and maybe the vb as pulling factor, he put in alot effort to learn and he is now our top TV speaker..

I think she's asking for my flight no. But I can't be sure.
Can any senior help me? Cam-on.

She is asking you which flight you are taking, eg Jetstar, Lion, Tiger, etc.

Again she smsed me: "ox mua cho em cai vo sach hieu cot nge Anh tien em cho me hiet roi".

I think she wants me to buy a book or something, but I'm not sure.
