Re: Monthly trip to ChangPing, HouJie HuMen
Pre-invitation for September trip to CP
As I explained on the previous posting, received few feedback from the bros here, saying that july trip notice came too short, it is difficult to apply and go on leave with such a short notice. Earlier notice will be much better. I think the point is very valid, as such, I am giving the advance notice for the upcoming trip. The next trip is September 12 - 15, and the plan is travel by tigerairways or airasia to SZ. The current pricing from tigerairways is S$304.23 and airasia RM682.98 This posting is for you to reserve your holiday and book the flight ticket. The detail agenda will be sent out before end july. Any bros interested to join, please feel free to let me know. Below are the flight details: SIN to SZ Wed, 12 Sep 07 - Flight TR 952 Depart 19:10; arrive 23:05 SZ to SIN Sat, 15 Sep 07 - Flight TR 953 Depart 23:35; arrive 03:25 (next day) or KL to SZ Wed, 12 Sep 07 - Flight AK 88 Depart: 1625; arrive 2010 SZ to KL Sat, 15 Sep 07 - Flight AK 89 Depart 2045; arrive 0030 (next day) |

CA is Chang'an, which is another town in dongguan city. that is about 30mins away from CP. Besides CA, Houjie is another town in dongguan that worth exploring. And depending on your preference and purposes, you could also try ZhangMuTou and HengLi. And besides the towns in dongguan, Danshui, QingYuan and HuiZhou are also worth exploring. That was the comment from a bro saying that CP is now too commecial, u now see more and more non chinese foreigners there. This was what happened to houjie and CA previously. But HengLi, Danshui and other places, due to the geography issues, they are not yet that developed. so, majority of cheongsters are still chinese, being it from hk or taiwan (but u see very less sporean there). actually those places are also very fun, and cheap! for examples, Danshui 2 hours foot massage generally is less than rmb50, and it is next to the sea, so seafoods are cheap. Danshui is a town that full with sauna, the sauna room there average is around rmb150, which is cheaper than the towns in dongguan. HengLi BBS is cheap, u can get it with rmb350 or 400 overnight. There are still many places waiting for you to explore, so, enjoy and have fun! |

Re: Monthly trip to ChangPing, HouJie HuMen
You seem to avoid answering my questions below....
"Read so much your claims, like to clarify the following : Do you n yr helpers pay the shares of the drinking bill and tips tp kj ? Or you expect to go FOC n we food the bill. Will you show us the actual bill and divided that equally ? Or we should just pay as you say ? " And do you resort to any of the following dirty tricks as posted by Bro Sukurada : "There are so many, many ways for the "organizer" to benefit from first paying the bill and collect from the others. To name a few - divide the bill by less people, inflate the actual bill outright, bring extra bottles of liquor from the supermarket and "add" to the bill, quietly get a 20-30% rebate from the ktv joints, order more but keep the extra for the next round (when most of the people paying won't be going), and something I've heard recently - bring fake bottles of expensive liquor and swap the real with the fakes. " Before we join your ktv session. Plls state your position. We want to know who are we are dealing with. A " business enterprise" or a "friend" which you claim you are...... |

1. How much can a person make from this ????????????? 2. Even if we need to pay his share, I think is fair, bcos its never easy to organise event like this. Booking of hotel room. Booking of KTV room. Make sure everything is ok in the KTV. Bring you go makan. Everything need to spend some time doing it. etc...... (Time is money) 3. Don't you thing he deserve something in return. At lease a +++en of appreciation. 4. No venture, no gain. Being new there, just try and you'll be able to fish out the truth. 5. BTW nobody will admit anything openly like that right. 6. Since Bro3dee say he don't make money from it. Why don't we just try it and the answer will be out. Cheers |

Re: Monthly trip to ChangPing, HouJie HuMen
Yo Bro, I am not here to create the argument, and I am not too sure whether you cheong frequently in dongguan (or cp) or not. If you are, look at your drinking bill, how much you paid every time?
Here are two examples that I have: By Bro MonsterX: "...ordered 3chivas , free1.plus lot of food.. total price less den 4k...i dunno how other bro think but i consider it cheap lah. as for the mm there..i can only say is too many to choose...dunno how to choose either...any how point n say my room number to the gals..ended up have 14 gals in my room wif only 4guys..!" And here is another PM that I got: "I just came back from CP. Every night, we drank only beer and red wine. On average we paid about 5000RMB ( 6guys+14MMs ) Is this normal?" Look at the 1st case, bro MonsterX paid about 4K for drinking the hard liquor; 2nd case, the bros paid 5K on red wine!! For me, I have put the charge upfront, red wine RMB300 per pax, chivas RMB400 per pax. The price is free flow and included table/room charge, and the KJ fee. You do not pay any extra unless you order something more (like foods or cigarette). If the above 2 group bros go with me, the bill should only RMB2150, and the 2nd case RMB1950. This case the saving is about 40-50%. Just a simple question, if there is a way to help you to save the cost, why not? Second, do you concern about the budget when drinking? What about if you are the light drinker and you have heavy drinkers in your group? Will you feel unfair because someone is drinking more and you have to share the cost? By charging you with fix rate and free flow, all these can be handled. Third question, since the taiwanese can do this, hkee can do this, why sporeans n msian we cannot? That is why I always said, sporeans and msian way of drinking is expensive in dongguan! I have shared the cost upfront and transparent, if you can do it lower than me, I will be very happy to hear from you. And if you are worried that the alcohol is a fake, you feel free to check every bottle before the opening. I do not force you to join the group if you are not comfortable, different people is having diffeent preference, and different way of doing. For me, I feel that if there is a way to get things cheap, and others are doing that, why should I pay more? Quote:
