Actually I agree with bro otur if you are playing many games on the table. Banker 6 win half may be good if you only wan to play a few games. In this case you may get away without paying tax if you are lucky. My reasoning below.

If you pay 5% tax for every win on banker, then you actually pay 50% tax if you win ten rounds on banker which is also half your bet if your bet is constant. So theoretically, if you win on banker 6 once every ten wins on banker, then it is the same for both scheme. But however, if banker 6 occur twice in every ten banker wins for you, then the 5% tax is better becos you actually lose one bet amount if you play banker 6 win half. You still pay 50% tax for the 5% scheme for ten rounds. So if you are those type who must bet every round, then the 5% tax is better. If you are those hit and run type, then maybe the banker 6 win half scheme is better.

The chances for banker to win on 6pts are very good if player draws third card. Actually banker 6pts is very strong becos player only have three cards to win for the third card and banker still have one more chance to draw third card if player draws a 6 or 7. Player does not have this option. Of course luck also plays a big part in gambling. If you are those type who always buy insurance, then it does not make any sense to buy 1 pay 3 for banker if you are on the banker 6 win half scheme. You have to risk your entire bet without insurance. So it is not safe for high rollers with huge bet. Perhaps that is why you can hardly find any banker 6 win half tables in the VIP rooms in Genting or Star Cruise becos it is not popular with high rollers.

Of course the pay half rule benefits the casino more due to other more reasons :
- Table do not need to maintain small changes for tax
- Tax deduction waste time
- Dealer need only to concentrate card rule
- Dealer less burden in calculating tax

In the end, more number of games played using the same amount of time.

Same basic rule below :

Players Bacarrat Hand
If the players hand has a total value of 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 then the player must draw another card.

Bankers Bacarrat Hand

If the total bankers hand is 3 then the banker does not draw when the players 3rd card is 8.
If the total bankers hand is 4 then the banker does not draw when the players 3rd card is 0, 1, 8, or 9.

If the total bankers hand is 5 then the banker does not draw when the players 3rd card is 0, 1, 2, 3, 8, 9.

If the total bankers hand is 6 then the banker does not draw when the players 3rd card is 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 9.

If the total bankers hand is 7 or 8 then stands, retains two cards only.
