My friend booked week ago. They only allow us to stay one night studio. But don`t know how they allow us to stay another night. This time i & my friend share the room no booking of cewek for second night (R & R). 3rd night manage to get a studio at 5th floor (the wifi signal was OK but still slow)
My friend manage to get further discount as he know some management staff there.

I was staying at 2nd floor for the first night . my friend & i can`t get access to their Wifi. The counter operator told us 2nd floor signal no good . 3rd floor also not so good but can try your luck. 4th floor onward should be OK but the best signal is at their ground floor resturant.

At Balai custom
Is the other custom officer that question me. I just act blur don`t know what he say. I think he get frustrated & let me go as there are bigger fish behind me. Haha...

Silver river resturant

This what i heard from their staff. Don`t know true or not. But i don`t like them to move this is my favourite makan place in Balai .

Yes! Always act blur. But normally if passport frequent TBK chops, they dont really bother u. But if u take last ferry fm Spore, always be sure u r not the last pax on the queue at the TBK imm counter....

Bros who die die want to check into Maxi, better be prepared to book in advance. Rooms nowadays will only be ready by 12 Noon. Why? Cos of this forum lor. Everyone posting and praising Maxi here! So everyone check into Maxi. As a result most of the time Maxi 5/8 full! Yes...even on weekdays at times. The old wing Studio, Standard very popular among guest cos its cheap. So the next room in line would be Delux or New Std...all going at $50 and above. However regular guest may get good discount if staying at New Std at the New wing...

Tats the probm. Maxi have been promoting actively by fellow cheongsters here and other forums. Even regulars oso at times kenna upgrade to big or new std room cos the smaller rooms very popular among guests. And to add to the popularity of Maxi is tat u practically have everything under 1 roof. They even have a SPA and massage ctr. Already PM u certain add info...to make ur trip tere more enjoyable ya...

Last trip (2 weeks ago) was also enjoyable.

Stayed in Maxi at 280k rups. Much cheaper than the last time at 435k rups.

Tried 2 gals from villas... nothing to shout about, accommodating. Finally went to Bravo... don't think I will visit this place again.

My 2 'sons' kenna 'fined' at the customs for their computer on arrival.... I also had my computer with me... hee hee.

Food at Silver river was pretty decent. Better than the last trip, at a restaurant beside Maxi (will not mention the restaurant name)

One thing I find out is that, 50k tip is considered el cheapo..... I gave a little more.

Next trip, I will try gal fro Ruko.....

How much was the "fine"? This is utterly ridiculous. Some years back one brown turd at the Batam customs "fined" me for wearing slippers
