bro, its ok to do that. As long as the transaction is successful, the lady need not show the credit card at the airport. She will need to have a copy of the ticket printed out.

For the past few months, i have read with great interest on this thread. Reason, i have a Viet GF and now she lives in HCM.

My intention to marry her at the end of tis year. However, i faced a problem: Housing. I'm in early thirties , not yet 35 and has been living with my parents n siblings in a 4-room HDB flat.

So i need a house of my own as there is no space to accomodate extra person. I dont think i can buy new flat since i not 35 yet, n have no intention to buy new flat ubder me n one of my parent. My siblings is still in late twenties.

My salary average around 2K+ and my intention is to buy 3 room from open market.

Can I do that?
Is there other possible solutions?
Seems that u all dont face any housing problems as most of u have already has a house.
My intention is to buy a house before end of tis year.

Hope senior bros can offer valuable suggestions . I sincerely thanks you in advance.

Have you check the latest update with HDB? Yes at some time back you need to be 35 single to purchase a house. But if you ROM with her you can too get a house under a nuclear family.

Holusing isn't a big problem with SG men. It is the livelihood after that. She will not be working and you will have to support both her and the house expenses. It can amount to almost your salary. If you say that both of you are prepared to skimp, then you had better think again. Is she really prepared to skimp?

Hihi. I think Lionair is different from other budget airline when using cc to buy airticket ONLINE. If i remember correctly the website states that only the person with the same name etc as the cc will be able to chk in.
Other budget airlines does not hav this restriction. But if u buy the ticket using cc via their Lionair ticketing office, then it is ok. The restriction only applies to ONLINE SALE.

Hopes this helps. And by the way for those who ar reading this, Lionairs offers 1 of the cheapest ticket to HCM for now. 1 way cost abt 70-80sing only. They ar using brand new plane and offer free food onboard.

I think you will face another headache to get her to stay in Singapore as you have to apply her long term visa and.or then PR. This will takes time..

After she is a PR, you can buy a HDB flat using both your names...
