The protests have certainly gave Thailand bad publicity. It is supposed to be high season in Thailand. I was in Pattaya, most pubs owners were quite disappointed with the crowd turn out and they knew the reason.

But don't think this protest period can last too long. The pay out for each protester is 2000 bahts per day, as compared to the 2008, yellow was about 600+ bahts per day, red was 200+ per day.

So quick quick go and change....

When I bought the air ticket I also included insurance in the air ticket price.
I have also bought another travel insurance from my own insurance.
So if really suay suay kenna stranded in BKK..... who will pay me?
The airline, the airline's insurers or my own insurance...... or can I claim from all 3 parties?

Today's rate at Arcade ranged from lowest of 25.00 (Loo & Ng) to 25.45 (Md Shariff)
Anyway met an old army friend who is now working as a courier for the moneychangers. He informed that the past few days Thai baht is selling like hotcakes. He had just delivered 5million baht to the shops in Arcade prior to bumping into me and that was already his 2nd delivery today. He expects to do another delivery again today after seeing the long queues.

I got no idea. Depends on your term.
Also I never experienced BKK riot before so can't advise on that.
The thing I can suggest is, go thru your list and try claim as many as you can, eg flight delay, flight cancellation, riot, etc..

Cannot retire in Thailand. can go and visit it more often till sianz. still have pho bo to eat, barlute, shark fin (CP brand)..... where can retire.... have to work and continue enjoy the balance....
