As much as it is just a legend/myth and only appears in wu xia xiao shuo, there must be some kind of basis that such "nonsense" grows from.

Appearantly, some chinese 医书 ever pointed out that having a virgin (童女）can boost your 阳气 to some extend. A boost in 阳气 is proven to improve man's health and keep him in his prime.

It might be just a psychological boost when you "consumed" a virgin and you feel very man. But psychological or not, if by fucking a virgin can boost your 阳气, it will lengthen your prime.

But then again, in 古代, 童女 may mean virgin and/or young gals. Fucking a 18 yr old virgin will make you feel very man but fucking a 40 yr old virgin i think is damaging to the health. haha...
