I do not like him as a person. But as a nation leader I respect him.

Even the latter part of the year sucks and he should never get his family to be involved in the politics. The credit of building of a nation is undeniable.

Respect is the word for me.

Mr. Lee ruled with an ironfist many would disagree with him, but look back now who is the 1 who came out and lead when singapore is in crisis? Many says his lucky to have good team players, but without a visionary leader, the TEAM will go no where no matter how good they are, Mr. Lee will always be remember no matter what be it for the good or the bad decision he has made, what is done is already done, Still I would say without Mr. Lee Kuan Yew there won't be singapore . May you Rest In Peace Mr. Lee Kuan Yew.

Even though I dislike the his policies & his political constitution - PAP, He has no doubt change Singapore from a "nothing-happening Third World" backwater to a major "First World" country respected by many nations.

His legacy will go on forever - LKY is indeed Singapore. Without him, there won't be us.

Condolences to the Lee's family & his contributions will never be forgotten.

He should be credited & respected for what he has done and achieved ... good or bad ... This whole over the top media frenzy of proclaiming how GREAT he is smells like some form of worshiping or pre-election propaganda.
