It's maybe useless to find a job in Bkk as the pay is miserable but have you ever thought of doing some type of business while you are in BKK. For instance buying branded goods (I understand quite cheap - correct me if I am wrong) and selling to UK, USA etc. This does not need much capital as you will be doing it through the internet. Of course you need to have some basic knowledge about html, payment system etc

Hmm, I just may do that, considering that I once feel like a lost and whining brat, and I admit i do have low self confidence, sometimes leading to mild case of depression. I was lucky I had REAL mates who were there for me then, but it was hell during the recovery process.

maybe Packing my bags to come to thailand for 6 months is a better cure??? might need the advise of a Investment/betting guru Thai-style Piichai, to provide me with tips to maintain a lifestyle and get enough income to cheong regularly in LOS without a regular singapore-sized paycheck..reccomendations anyone??

gotta get back to work..boss coming!!

Depends on what kind of branded goods u talking about. Import tax in Thailand is very high. Unless u talking about locally produced products like OTOP products....

Visa runs u think I don't know meh. Last time I use jackgolf only 1800baht, 1 mth visa extension from poi pet, aranyaprathet. Now petrol increase, of course costs more lor. Last time I go, don't even need photo.

on another note.....i believe most of smasters here, including uni graduates, started off with salary of lower than S$2k (especially those started work in the 80s/90s), probably except few exceptionally bright people.....we all worked our way thru the years to earn what we have today.....achievement are thru hardwork and effort, be it in whichever line.....

My only advice is:
If you really love her, you should before end of this year
- come back to Sg
- get a job in Sg
- bring her back to Sg
- supply her maybe around S$400 (only half of wat she earns in BKK as claimed by you, but should be enough lor)) to remit home + as her monthly allowances in Sg.
- slowly make her obtain a proper job in Sg to make her financially less dependable on you / or to increase the household income - both will benefit in the long run.

I believe if one really loves a gal, he will feel 'down' to see his gal go to work at a nite spot everynight. Moreover, you can't possibly go on like present .. this type of 'nua-lan' life will make you to slack even deeper and it's very unhealthy psychologically.

I was at this Hway kwang internet cafe,because after work,my girls decides to go over there to have dinner.The usual procedures will be eat,shopping and then go internet.I think there is nothing wrong with that,since my girl also with me when i am online,not that i so lonely and go use internet rite??it's my girl who encouraged me to go out with friends from spore if there is.

I already stated that,its not that i not wanted to go back spore,its her who not letting me go back,try talking to her then,since talking to me is no use.There are some things people here just dun understand between both of us.If she is that understanding,then i wont ended up here in the first place.But bros here can post anything u like,since this is a forum.But unless u really know my girl,then u come tell me what i should do when she insists on some things.

haha in that case,u need to consult Singrakthai since he is the one who said all that is achievable for anyone who comes bkk.If cannot succeed then go ask him why hor.
