One fine day, while we were cuddling in my bed after dinner with my parents. I finally pop the question

Me: darling, can I ask something
May: yes, anything.
Me: will you father attend our wedding?
May (without hesitation): I was just thinking about this recently, I have no idea. His relationship with my mother is so bad, I dun know what will happen if he shows up. I was thinking of your opinion but couldn't get around to ask you, cause it is quite difficult.
Me: honey, I will be your husband soon, and we have already plan to spend the rest of our life together, you can share all your worries with me.
May: yes, I know. But, I just trying to find the right time.
Me: it's okay, next time just ask me straight, we are suppose yo share our burden together. Okay?
May: thanks, honey.
Me: so, what do you think we should do?
May: if I asked my mom, she most definitely says no, they parted bitterly. My mother will most certainly threaten to disappear if my father shows up.
Me: I understand your dilemma. But he is still your father, we will have to inform me, but maybe after the wedding.
May: that's what I was considering too.
Me: when was the last time you saw your father?
May: before I came to Singapore for the first time.
Me: that's quite some times ago.
May: my mother forbid me to contact him, saying that if she caught me informing him, she will disown me.
Me: oh Sweetie, it must be difficult for you. Are u close to your father?
May: when I was young, my father stop coming home regularly, when I was in high school. He always say he has to travel to other prefecture to work be use of his job. But he hardly pack his bags while traveling. My father and mother started to fight soon after and went into a Cold War. After that, he doesn't come home. Till a few years later, when my mom caught him with a gal. Than my mom filed for divorce.
Me: honey, it must be difficult for you.
May: I hope that we will not end up this way
Me: I promise. Do u have your father's contact?
May: yes, but he change them regularly. I can Cheah with my aunt (father's younger sister)
Me: okie, we will meet him after our ROM. Do you think he will like me?
May: why? U afraid my father will disapprove of you. Dun worry, it is I u r marrying, and I approve of you.
Me: thanks dear, I just wish that it will not cause you any problem.
May: no worries, if it does, we will face it together.
Me: yes, as a team.

With that, we never spoke again on the matter.
Days passes, and soon we flew to Hong Kong. We nearly did not make it, as the day before there was a big hurricane passes by Hong Kong. When we took a cab to the hotel, we can see trees and durbies all over the street. Checking in was no problem, lots of tourist postpone the trip due to the hurricane.

The hotel was a 4 star hotel, but the room is kind of small. But whose complaining, it is free. After check in, we went for dinner.

Did I mention that we were upgraded to business class on our way in. Hehehehehee. The best part was, due to the hurricane, that just sweep pass HK in the morning, the air space around HK was very congested. We ended up spending an additional 1 over hour hovering over the airspace of HK airport. That is an additional of one over hour of business class service.

isn't that a good start to a pre honey moon.

The air in Hong Kong was very fresh. We finally settle for the famous beef brisket noodle in HK. We had 3 bowls between 2 of us. The shop is in Tsim Sha Zhui, I believe many people know about the shop.

We tried walking back to the hotel, which was almost 2 km, we were sweating by the time we reach our rooms. Although the are was fresh, but the humidity was very high and there was hardly any breeze. We ended up sharing the bath tub, but due to the size, we legs were our of the tub. May lied on my chest, and we savor the moment. Off course my hands were all over her. But that's all we did in the tub.

Just realize this is my 300th post. Time to celebrate, I will go make a Venti glass Gina and Tonic, and pop open a bag of Lays sour cream and onion potato chips.
