That day u say abt ban, I go check vn gov website n vn airline. Latest Only mention korea. So no pay attention to it. Wtf

Traveling there on sq or "branded" airlines OK.

Even got one passenger, also they fly.

Vietnam airlines. One of worst full service airline. Beware of the following.

1). Sell u cheap ticket. Thn upon check in. Tell u no check in baggage. Pay extra, just like budget airline. Read fine print.
2) aircraft type a350, when booking, they can switch to a320. As and when they please.
3) cancel flight cos not enough volume.
4) change ur flight schedule n let u miss ur connection.

for 1), 3) & 4), its quite common for airlines in western countries. Yes even premium ones. Thats why SQ still one of the top globally.
Airlines' profit margins already very thin (even for SQ i think is low single digit% of sales only). If volume not enough still fly, really close down very fast.
Buy travel insurance. For frequent flyers, makes sense to get an annual plan.

Vn schedule now for march. Left one flight per day I think.

Change flight schedule n frequency have lah. But where got change within few days notice one. I book few days before nia. Kns.

Travel insurance. I hv. Dunno can claim. Cos cancel, but my ticket still valid, can change date anytime

I no choice gotta check almost everyday, that day the silly erroneous reporting about the PM banning all foreigners from all corona-hit cuntries was the worst knn never even bother to send a correction the next day

Now times are bad so even those premium airlines will be following suit in order to reduce unnecessary costs so be careful, I just got a notice 2 days ago from SIA changing one of my flight as the original one I was on is cancelled (but luckily on the same day)
