What are some if the places that I can hang out overnight? I know McD is 24 hours. Abby other place with affordable food and wifi preferably?

Someone told me that it was dead, as much of the action due to the cleaining-up effort of the Singapore authorities.
I am happy to learn that it is not true and it is still active. So I hope for the street action in Geylang.
There is too much difference for me between the cost/benefit ratios of Singapore and Batam. It has been a few years that I don't even stop over in Singapore. I land, or I cross the border with Malaysia, and I go straight to Harbour Front to take the ferry. Unbeatable Batam for me.

I am not sure I understood what you mean with "hang out" and what you like to do. If it is just sitting and drinking or eating at any time of the night, in Nagoya I know:
- McD and KFC
- Santaria (Siang Malam) 200 m from Formosa (with good Wifi)
- the food court of Newton

If you feel itchy at 1am, I would recommend you to spend your time roaming the Newton food court instead (I know the 5th floor is not the place you feel comfortable with).

Beside PRCs and Viets coming down from the 4th floor,there are also Indo girls coming down the same way as well,hehehe...and their quantity is more (and priced lower than in KTV too). There will always be options (King massage girls also going back around that hour),but option do not equates to suitability.

I learned that from your past Newton expedition but with a little modification that fit my 'size'.

Joo Chiat is still very much alive, with majority Vietnamese ktv / pubs, and some prc ktv. But, at times, the quality/quantity of stocks can be limited due to overzealous ICA officers limiting Vietnamese banners entry to Singapore.

I have a room booked for tomorrow, took Monday, but am now in Sindo Ferry's last trip to Batam Centre. "Hanging out" referred to sitting around, doing some work on my phone, and people watching. Think I'll go have supper at Newton's food court since Formosa only have twin beds left.

Vienna Restaurant is operating 24 hours,30 steps away from Tea Story,hehehe...and in the same building.

Affordable with a member card and total privacy around 1am.

I think i am going to love this one! Hehehe...this should be a horror movie. One that i hope will have an English sub-title,otherwise i may consider watching it in Malaysia instead.

Yup, I'm aware of Vienna. Just that I prefer the food choice and customers type of Tea Story.
