Hallo guys out there in SZ

Any good recommendations of hotel to stay in at Shenzhen maybe Luo Hu district?? I need average enviroment and budget hotel for 5 days stay.

Any guys out there got reommendations??? Appreciate your help.

I suggest u PM him for faster result as I know he is quite busy with all his stuff man... Try to look up in his previous thread and I think u will be able to get some idea first...

But if really worst case scenrio try Queens Spa that place can stay in too and it is around RMB$168 per entry... Jokes lah but really can consider that place to stay for the nite bed is soft, good food, can bio gals there(noticed alot don wear bra), eat lotzza fruits and yes massage but no handy panky.

Luo Hu District...budget hotel.. Got plenty...

What's your budget ?

Range from 100 to 250rmb....

The 100rmb one are simply 2 stars hotel with aircon and bath room attached. But are of good location and reasonable cleaniness...

The 180-200rmb hotel are quite nice liao...3 stars but no broad band internet assess...

The 250rmb hotel also 3 Stars but new renovated room with FOC board band internet assess.....

If your budget is not too tight : I suggest this :

Shenzheng Guang Shen hotel located in Shennan Lu...very near to Dongmen, the Bu Xin Jie or walking street. Huge shopping area. Near to many makan places, sauna, ktv and bbs too..

Tel : 86-755-823-526-68

Their normal room are around 200rmb and business room 250rmb with FOC BB internet assess...

I suggest their business room...

i confirm sinoview's comments on Guan Shen Bin Guan

I just stayed there for a night last Saturday less than a week ago. Had the business room for 250rmb a night and it was nice. Bed was very nice and firm and bathroom has a standing shower stall.

Great tv selection of programs and I didnt check out the 2nd floor but saw a few real cuties going in and out of the place.

One of the things I really like about Guan Sheng is that it is literally less than 10 mins by car to Lowu train station and border area and about 10-15 mins by car to Huang Gang border area.

Gogo bus company and many other transport companies running MPVs from Huang Gang to HK International Airport..... about a 50min to 90 min run to the airport depending on the queue at the HK immigration side......

I noticed that the MPVs were WAY WAY slower than the Gogo buses NOT because they moved slowly but because their car queue at the HK Immigration takes a fucking long time. Gogo buses are a little slower but gets to the airport faster (strange eh? but true) because they drop passangers at the HK Immigration side to clear immigration individually at the many immigration counters and pick them up again after the immigration counters and roll amble along nicely to the HK International airport in about 60mins point to point BEFORE HK Immigration while the MPVs are still cooking in the HK Immigration vehicle queue.

Of course if there is NO vehicle queue then the MPVs are quicker than Gogo

So take Gogo at the Huang Gang border crossing if you dont want to get caught up in a possible serious long vehicle queue at HK Immigration

Last i stayed was Tai Yang Dao Jiu Dian. RMB280. Dun look like hotel lor. Jus a recep on ground floor. The building also have offices. But not comfortable with it cos my fren's room door was left ajar when come back and cigarette missing from another fren's room

For info, the rule for MPVs is with 1 to 2 passegers are allowed to go across without passengers going down to chop pp. But knowing these MPVs, unless you 'bau chia', they wait for full load before moving out.

Just a bit of kiasuism, these MPVs literally make the across border run without being checked. So if you tumpang with strangers, these buggers may be smuggling stuff and you can get implicated in the hassles.

This is a Field Report for Stadium - Chicago Club just North of Hua Qiang Bei.

14 July 2005, Thursday.

It was a boring thursday evening, and I've met up with Gincharm and our mutual friend.

We've met up at Jusco Starbucks, and have a few drinks, while enjoying the BIRD views in that location.

Man, I must tell you, Jusco Starbucks is really a good location for bird watching... Gincharm & me joked about a new categorizing scheme.

1. By observation, some of the Birds have long and silky hair, with 'designer' looking clothing and good skin complexion.

We've rated those as 10,000 RMB and above category... (Meaning to say, if you can afford RMB 10 K per month to upkeep them)

You can even observe further by what kind of phones they are using.

Usually, those with high upkeeps (must say again, all these are just our observations, and it's just a general statement) have expensive phones.

And after some usual TCSS, we even mention that maybe some of the Ang Mos may belong to the WSG site, as to what I've found out, most of the WSG guys do hang out in Jusco Starbucks... and it's always common for us to find a group of Ang Mos together.... hahaha...

Really, sex does MAKE THE WORLD GET TOGETHER.... hahaha....

It was 9pm, and Gincharm suggest that we make a move to Chicago Club at the Stadium.

How to get there?

Just jump in to a Taxi and say " 芝加哥俱乐部，体育场 zhi1 jia1 ge1 ju4 le4 bu4, ti3 yu4 chang3, or Chicago Club, at the Stadium"

It cost us about RMB 15 just to go there from Jusco Starbucks.

If you're travelling from Luo Hu Customs, maybe it'll be less than RMB 25 depending on traffic conditions.

The Place:

Chicago Club is built on the bottom of the stadium.

Imagine a stadium with staggered sits, and below the staggered sits, there are alot of empty space, and those entrepuneurs have managed to convert the place into a happening club.

Exterior is not much decor, but looks quite welcoming enough.

The Interior:

Well well well, the interior is designed with a hint of western class, and Chicago is basically consist of two major sections.

The main entrance will lead you to a main dance floor, and a square bar counter with major liquors like carlsberg, qing dao, heiniken, etc... and hard liquor like absolute vodka, jack daniels, and chivas regal etc...

there are enough sits for that night...

Lighting is a bit bright though... but strangely, the disco lighting system isn't that good, there is an atmosphere of people... but somehow the disco lighting system is not up to my expectations.

The music they are playing would be contemporary pops from 9pm till 11pm and from 11pm onwards, they started to play techno shit...

I would rate the sound system as good, good base, and good acuostic system is layed all around the club, and even at the corner of the club, you could have a good quality of music to entertain yourself and your friends.

We sat at the corner of the bar counter.

And ordered some drinks to chill out.

On the next section, it would be a quiter place with softer tempo music, they do sell all sort of food there, like steak, chicken wings etc... it's mainly for people who just want to chat, but not dance.

Gincharm, me and our friend stayed sat on the bar counter the whole time through.

People in Chicago Club:

Mature audience, mainly yuppies, in their very late 20s, early 30s to early 40s... and now for the fun part.

BIRDS IN CHICAGO CLUB:

Based on Gincharm and my observation, we noticed that it's mainly Office Working Class girls in their late 20s and early 30s or sometimes late 30s ladies, all dressed up.

we noticed many 'desperate' china men in their late 30s, going from SYTs to SYTs just to try their luck to pick up chicks... but man... the way they approach girls is so fucking amatuer...

We just sat at the corner watching how the ladies reject attention from other men... what a fun scene.

Talking about FLs, I am not too sure are there any FLs there, because the way the people dress in Chicago club give me a feeling that they are either just here to chill out and dance only...

Any bros who went to Chicago Club before maybe could highlight to us how is it like.

There is alot of BYO cases in Chicago Club, (just in case, BYO means bring your own)

Something that always make me wonder is, sometimes, some locals even bring their 4 or 5 year old child to this kind of club, and it always makes me wonder, what the fuck are these people thinking? And it's not the first time that I've seen such cases happening in Shenzhen.

That night's objective was to check it out... and it's quite a good place to chill out, and especially for players who know a trick or two, it's a good place to use your manly charms... as there are indeed alot of SYTs out there... waiting for English speaking men to approach them...

damage on that night:

3 bottle of beers (RMB 75)

1 absolute vodka (lemon) (RMB 430 with 1 bottle of orange juice)

1 bottle of orange juice (diluted, yuck, mixed with vodka, makes horrible screwdriver)

Totaled: RMB 505 for 3 person's drinks.

Return for more action? = Why not? it's about time to explore different places.

And we'll be going to YES BAR on 15th July 2005, to check out the babes tonight... and we'll keep you guys posted!

skydesperato - U can reference the thread Sexcapade in Shenhen for info. Anyway, you are smack in the middle of Bading area and behind Jusco are all the BBS. MPs generally have A and B grade services, besides the normal foot massage. Check the thread. Many places and tips mentioned there.
