bottom line: no visa needed up to 30 days at 1 go
but if you frequent there too many times within a year they have the right to check you, interrogate you, even refuse your entry (rare though) every country has right to refuse entry even if visa free |

Thai gov has a new law in place starting 2024 to tax foreign income of long term resident. Meaning those staying more than 180 days per year. If you are here too often, it used to be only an immigration issue. Now it can also become a tax issue. My advise is look into digital nomad, thai elite type of long term visas if possible.

Non o visa has its own set of rules. The 180 days doesnt apply.
