Bro, this is definitely a scam. Something similar happened to me about 6yrs ago. Even though the company name and address provided are different. The modus operandi is the same.

Asshole #1 calls to invite me to attend the lucky draw at some posh hotel, calls me on the actual day to ask me if I'm there, calls me at the end if the day to "congratulate" me on winning. However, as I was not there in person, I have to either pay them "admin" fees or go to hongkong to collect my winnings in cash.

I opt to go to hongkong for a short trip and check out the company, spent 4days there sight seeing amid asking around on information about the company. It turns out that I had a higher chance of finding Atlantis then the company..

Take it as a lesson learnt bro..

Got such a call, told the lady, I am very excited asked her to call me back in 2hrs for me to calm down.

She called back and I told her I can't believe I am so lucky and told her about my Lao pok car and how happy I can change car. Then told her, I need to tell my wife and asked her to call me back in 2hrs.

Idiot really called me back, then I sounded even more excited as my wife is expecting. Explain to her how hard we been trying. Then she starts to explain procedure. I told her can email me, certificates, lucky draw ticket, company details, basically whatever nonsense I can think of... Then I told her can lend me some money first, as I just replaced my lao pok car and my wife is expecting. I pay her double when I am in hk to collect. Of course, the line went dead after that..

Please ask yourself some simple questions:

What have you bought from that company ?
Ask them how they did they pick u ?
Stranger approach you to claim big prize...They don't have friend or family members to share that prize ? Need to share it with u !!!!

Anybody read about this stupid taiwan man...
He was scammed many times and every time he fall for it.

mine was nearer to singapore..

got a call from a PRC lady claiming to work for dont-know-what in Malaysia. Informed me that i've been enrolled in a lucky draw to be held in KL in 1 week time and invited me to attend as i need to be there personally to claim the prize..

1 week later, she called me, background noise machiam a huge convention with lots of cheering/clapping.. best thing she called me just before the grand prize drawing.. lo and behold, i actually WON !!!!!

unfortunately, as i'm an idiot for not attending, i cannot claim it

the next day, she called me back, as she feels that i'm a good man, she managed to convinced her manager to give me half the winnings.. woo hoo!!!


and i guess you guys know the rest.. bank account number, passport details to verify my identity..... and of course, a "small" admin fee to process my winnings.....

Today, just received such call from "SCCCIOB" Singapore Chinese Chamber xxxx.
Telling me that i am invited to the "show" at Little India, Chinese Chamber has their own hall, why rent a place at Little India??

I told the lady:

I am a member of SSCIOB but i have NEVER heard of such activity going on, trying your luck to cheat SGporeans $$ again?

Scolded some vulgarities and hung up on her...
