aiya even if u knw d exact room, it doesnt guarantee u wont bump into d spirits mah. spirits do roam ard, as long as u stay in d same hotel i dun thk u will feel at ease doin yr stuffs. i thk if u all superstitious or scared of ghosts, better to avoid tis hotel altogether.

Reminds me of an incident last year. During the first week of the 7th Month, I was driving home along a Highway from Damansara heading to Mid Valley Shopping Center in KL at about 12 midnight... Then I saw a Taoist Priest and 2 guys burning paper and ringing his bell by the Road Side. I thought to myself that was rather strange...

The next morning, I was about to have my Breakfast. I saw on the newspaper front page saying a couple, friend and unborn baby died in a tragic accident. Upon reading further, it mentioned that it was the same road I had passed earlier. The accident was around 2.40am. Apparently the car veered off the road at high speed and crashed into several trees before it came to a halt. In the picture, the whole car was so badly smashed that the engine seperated from the car and landed into the drain...

A week later I passed the same accident stretch of road, but in the day time. As I passed the stretch, I remembered the taoist priest and the 2 person standing and a little further down the road, there were skid marks from a tripple lane highway from the ride side to the left side. I counted the trees being hit, no less the 7 - 8 trees. No wonder there were no survivors. Incidentally, the road is very straight with a slight linear bend to the left...

Until today I still wonder, did the taoist priest have soemthing to do with the car accident or was it just a coincidence...

Irregardless of whether the road is straight or windy,

I believe a sudden tyre puncture or an attempt to swerve to avoid hitting an animal can cause such an accident if the driver was travelling at a high speed.

I saw this video clip on the internet where a container trailer suddenly swerved to its left and hit the car beside it and both exploded into flames right away. It was captured by the surveillance cam on the highway and it allegedly happened in the Netherlands. No survivors too.

I am not a superstitious person but I do give these beliefs a fair bit of respect because I do not wish to tempt the unseen and be made an example of should unexplained things happen. I have no qualms staying in a hotel room where a couple has reportedly died whatsoever because I believe many other people have also died in several places I go to, roads being one of the more usual ones.

Basically, I think we need to balance superstition and logic.

But well, that's just my opinion.

Me also not the superstitious type or person. I have even slept in temples surrounded by tombs (Changi Road 8 Miles). Now this place has landed properties and bungalows mushroomed all over the hill where the cemetries were. But don't you think it is better to be God/Ghost fearing than to ignore all these super natural things? Better to be safe than sorry!

Likewise, when I visit Bangkok, although I am not a devotee of the revered 4-faced Buddha, I still make it a point to go to the Erawan Shrine and offer my offering and put some Baht into the donation box. It is like, when I visit you in you home, I will always pay my respect to the lord of the house.

Prevention is better than cure

Chinese papers has more detailed report. Basically, both of them are having affair as both sides have family liao. Think they decided to leave this world together after sex. Charcoal and super glue were found in the room. Female was naked, Male in underwear only.

We should respect them. I don't read the Chinese papers, but friends says they might have commited suicide. They (the couple) at least got courage and guess must have loved each other very much to do such a thing.

No smell already lah! Haven't you watch CSI LV? They have crime scene clean-up team mah, I am sure our garmen also have the equivalent. Besides, the boss of Fragrance surely want the place in tip-top condition otherwise how to attract back all the couples?

the crossroad junction had been reconstructed now there is a flyover. .. .. but all bros who drive past there do be careful... although accident rate had came down in recent years, i can clearly remember that it was a pretty "dirty" junction many years ago

historically usually in news of death/"event" happen in hotel room or any house, the room number is not disclosed to mass media, possibly to prevent mass overbooking/shunning of the room

I really don't get why of all places why chose the place where alot of bros patronise. Really let us shot of a good place to go now. But may the couple RIP.
