Ever since the move to the new airport, airport tax is included in price of ticket. So don't need to pay the separate 500 bht tax.

Departure Airport Tax of 700baht is included in ur airfare since 01 Feb 2008.

I can bet many of us have stories of how we cheong until no money left even for airport tax! My kakis already have a few as well as me!

Mine was in phuket when I overslept and discovered overspent and no money in ATM (Plus) left to press! Back then , was still in NS so didnt have credit card so ended have to bargin with a tuktuk guy to send me to airport very cheap ; cant remember how much with less than 100B left after paying the airport tax! Starve till airplane served us dinner. This was way way before budget airlines!

Haha. Got one time I go Phuket and met 1 fellow sinkies at the airport. He had little cash left and have problem withdrawing cash.
Luckily I lend him $, if not I dont know what will happen to him

Just found this website where the pictures are amazing! This fellow must have spent a lot of time on it. When I go into the site , it feels like I was walking around town!

If u go to their home page ( MapJack (Beta) - Your City Online ) , u can find maps for other parts of Thailand.

They use simple multiple photography equipment and mount it on top of their car while they drive around town.
U can see the reflection of the car and the roof mounted cams in some of the pics.

waaaaa morden technology is amazing man! reminds me of younger days when first few visit to phuket and pattaya. Back then had time to stay more than a week so would hook up with some girls for days. Then we would rent a motobike for 100b a day and ride all over to discover the place.

Nowadays cannot liow less time , earn more but more commitments , thai girls also more materialist

Hi bro, I am planing to go pattaya this coming june. But still wondering whether worth to go or not because a lot comment saying that pattaya too commercialize and those gal prefer kuai low (ang moh) because they can give better tips wor.. true or not?

I went during Chinese New Year....Well, although most gal like farang, there are many many more who like $. I heard that the number of farang going there has dropped slightly???? Dont know how true...cause I have missing from the scene for 10 years!!!

Dont worry...Many people said Phattaya is westerner paradise, I saw many asian too....Japs and koreans U can just go to agogo bar in walking street, pay for a drink(60-100bht) and enjoy nude or topless syt dancing!!!If u fancy any gal, just buy her a drink(+100bht) and then negotiate the price for ST(+1000bht) or LT(+2000) and add 2000bht for the barfine. There are also many bars around....Just walk around and u will be grab by some of the gals.

I really enjoyed myself there....In fact, I prefer Phattaya over Phuket

They prefer ang mo cuz easier to get out of thailand if they can hook the ang mo. The girls know ang mo easier to con into marrying them while we asians are a tad more diff to hook. U think they enjoy working in bar and fucking meh ? They also wanna lead good life in foreign lands.

And also not becuz the ang mo can give more tips.
In fact u'd be shocked to hear most ang mo even more stingy than us.
U just buy them a drink and watch them go gaga over u.
Cuz they are all there to make a fast buck.

The gal in pattaya take so little on ST and LT?? pity them. barfine is 2000baht!! way too expensive already. unlike bangkok, barfine only 600baht, but ST is 2000baht and LT is 4000baht.

maybe should go there look see look see to complete my cheong list.

BTW, you went to bkk also? how's the gal in pattaya compare to bangkok? to me, i find that bangkok gal is really chun. If quality about the same between this 2 places, then worth to go.
