The rate they quoted is meant only for big note like $1000 or $10,000 bills. I stayed and resided in bkk for nearly 6yrs liao n I go back n forth to sg every 2 mths or so............... I'm VERY SURE !!! And today's rate is 23.75 / 23.85. If u call n drop in n they don't give u the rate they quoted on the phone they will tell u why. Recent strong showing sgd vs bht is (partly) due to sgd strengthening against usd. MAS has intervened, not sure how long will last

Money changer at parkway parade (near to ya kun on the right) quoted me 23.68 after some haggling on monday night.
Last night, mustafa quoted 23.58 (fixed rate cannot bargain).

Most of us here must have been glad to see rate now inched up 23.7. Saw latest news that bht got hit in line with SET drop on rumours king on mc.
SET dives on sell-off Anybody's guess for 24?
