Women are such strange creatures.

Just when I was getting ready to move on and rediscover the world, she sent me a fresh text message out of the blue, a full 3 weeks after we lost touch. That happened at 2am in the morning.

"I've lost you as a boyfriend, but I don't want to lose you as a friend. I know I wasn't very nice to you before, but I never meant to hurt anybody. I'm sorry that I can't be with you. Please forgive me."

I never replied her.

Now this baffles me to no end. For starters, would anyone who fell out of love pro-actively try to maintain a friendship with someone who used to be her boyfriend like that? Is she just feeling guilty that this whole thing ended the way it did and simply trying to make up for it? Or is she simply feeling lonely?

The way I see it, I think she missed me. She wants to stay in touch, but doesn't want to get back together. Does that make any sense at all? You can't have your cake and eat it too, you know.

Women.. bloody c*unts. Just say whatever you want to say out loud, for Christ' sake. This guessing game is making my head big.

I did hv a few ger in bkk last time after we breaking off, they wan me to become a friend, as they say just a FB(fuck buddy) or Gik.... when they feel alone the will sms me say miss me wan to see me something like that, than i fly to bkk to stay(hv sex) and clubbing wit them for good of 2-3 days....

That's sweet, but my situation is probably a little bit different.. after all we were officially together for 2 years.

I just don't get it, you know. Why can't she just try to give this another chance? It's not like I'm dying for her to come back, but it does help to massage the ego that little bit more, which will always be welcome.

Maybe friendship is really that important for Thais.

Affairs of the heart are complex ailments (no diagnosis or prescription), so letting go is easier said than done. Bro Charmaine, i empathy with your situations. I strongly believe in 2nd chance. If there is small spark or a light at the end of the tunnel, give it a chance to rekindle it. There is a need for the both of u to talk things over. If she still adamant about the lost affair....well set her free. In the first place, she have the gut to tell u that it is "over".
