Experience is HCM, in my personal opinion is 'you never know what you will get'. What I do is to keep an open mind and lower my expectations - there have been pleasant surprises and experiences which I enjoyed.

I must admit HCM (and mostly Vietnam) is definitely more challenging than Jakarta, Manila or Bangkok, where first timers can hit the jackpot with minimum hand holding.

..and because HCM is so challenging, cheongsters keep going back to try their luck. Just like those mountain climbers at Mt Everest
