I have read earlier pages regarding of not taking the taxis at the jetty....coz they charge so high unless we got the skills of bargaining power. Was told to walk out from the jetty and take taxi from the road side.... Usually if we reject their price taxis from the road side... will they make noise? Oh btw... i will be returning again this sunday hahahaha....

If you counter offer them a reasonable price, I'm sure they will be happy to take it as if they don't, there are many who would. Like from HBB to Nagoya Hill, you offer 20k RP, most will bite. Actually, don't have to walk all the way to outside, just approach any taxi that's hanging around HBB but not queuing at the taxi counter, you can talk price with them.

Those queuing are not willing to reduce their price as they need to pay to queue there. That's what they told me. Not sure true or not. No problem. Just walk a bit or just take 8k RP ojet.

Golden View Hotel is at far end of beng kong place. There is a massage place there. I believe got specials. Gals are MILF look. Not too bad looking.

No pick joints in this area as far as I know.

If asking for pick up gals, not that I know of. Massage joint there is also expensive compared to outside ones.

No lah, but usually, I advise people who are not familar to take LICENSED taxis. A few rupiah more only, but safer. If you are old bird, know bahasa, can bargain.

take those licensed ones....is at least 50k.....even for short distances.

take those unlicensed ones, always need to bargain.....
usually for me n my buddy, it is always hard time coz they see us chinese and dunno much bahasa, so is confirm chop carrot sinkie.
most cases, if they dun agree to your price...they just grumble n drove off.....encounter many times....no issues.

there is the issue of safety also....so far nothing bad.
once settle price, usually ok....just pay when reach destination.
but just to recount bad exp last week.....we take unlicensed car from nagoya hill to harbourbay.....my buddy think worth 20k....bargain n this chap say ok.....before hop on confirm with him...he nod....reach there pay 20k...he make noise n say 30k!!!

half way the driver suddenly stop by busy roadside after receiving call....i tot die liao.....(he want to rob us???) he say alot of things....in the end we finally understood he say tyre punctured....want us to get out.

my buddy say most likely he got another "fat robert" booking.
lucky we managed to flag down another car to continue our journey.
