Yes, Makati is a city of discipline, so bear in mind the following:

Snatchers work in tandem, looking for pedestrians using their phones without straps. Snatcher1 "accidentally" bumps you while you're busy texting or calling/answering a call, hard enough for you to lose grip of your phone until it falls. Snatcher2 catches your phone while snatcher1 distracts your attention by apologizing as he holds your hand or shoulder, blocking the view of snatcher2. When you look for your phone, Snatcher1 deceives you by saying he saw a suspicious guy running to some direction. You run to the wrong direction, giving them time to escape.

Bro, you miss something in my post .. Palanan is an extension in Makati, further up Kalayaan or so ... so .. while Greenbelt and Glorietta give you sense of being in Singapore (taxi forced to meter and no meter, security stop taxi, tell passenger buzz off FOC - no kidding, and fine the taxi .. and any taxi that don't queue get summon immediately and passenger told to go to queue etc. and also virtually zero beggers .. etc.) I let my guard down a bit and wander into some 'native' area, and panic, and my bodyguard also panic

Lesson - if it look bad, smell bad, it must be shit, so steer clear ..

ya talking about Greenbelt and Glorietta...2 yrs back i was walking around greenbelt looking for some thai food and I saw this restaurant. The interior looked good inside so I queried the man who was outside the door if there was a take away menu (brochure) so I can see whether my favourite dish would be there so I can come back there to eat another day. He said there was no takeaway menus so I asked what is the average price for dinner here and he said that he did not know "I AM NEW HERE". I thought this was a lazy answer so I just walked away because he was not being helpful. Then when I was waiting for my friend who was in the toilet then the man came back and said "OK YOU GO TO GLORIETTA TO EAT THERE, DONT YOU COME BACK HERE AGAIN". Well i guess from what he said you can see how rude and dodgy and unwelcoming and lazy the man is. Its a shame because the restaurant owner has gone to a lot of effort to make this restaurant very presentable with nice food but unfortunately the owner has disregarded having a good front door man. I would not recommend anyone coming to this restaurant because the front door man is clearly has no people skills and also his grasp of english is very small. He will probably not even get a job as a street vendor. Going to Jolli bee would be a better experience because at least they make you feel welcome there. Its such a shame for a restaurant in the upscale part of manila. Thats what happens if you hire unqualified staff at such a important position.

The thai food dishes looked good if I had a chance to try it.

Yeah those rates are for LT..or overnight.

When i get GEMS...very good girls, sometimes i will ask them to stay with me and end up accompanying me for the few days i m in Manila. I dont really like to change girls all the time.

So prices can nego if the girl is really having a huge crush on you and she really likes your company.

My best record was 1 girl for 3 nights and i paid her P10000, not including other stuffs (dress, cosmetics from BodyShop etc) i bought for her when we went to SM Mall of Asia.

But it was money well spent because the 4 days she was with me, she really gave me GFE @ 101%.

She even sent me to the airport when i was going back and cried when i left her..so sad..

Yeah will definitely post an FR after my trip in Nov. In fact a bro from SBF will be joining me on this trip too..and its his Virgin Trip to Pinay Land haha.

A few shops there serve food that is far from native food - like the Indonesian resto at the floor above Havana - all sugary and no hint of any spice even for Rendang

As for that kind of response, it is a famous filipino response - when they get cornered, either they smile (like Pres PNoy) or pull a fight out of nowhere (as my ex-GF used to do .. irritate me and then when I loose temper she will say "IT IS YOUR FAULT, BECAUSE EVEN IF I START, YOU LOST THE TEMPER .. "

Rule # 1 - don't argue with filipinos .. except the educated and more intelligent ones ..

If it is Greenbelt 2-3, I think I know which resturant you are talking about.

Hmmm, interesting encounter to read. I have been to Manila for many years, and stay in Greenbelt/Glorreitta area for many years, never had such encounter. Especially in Greenbelt as it caters mainly for up-market and overseas customers that are willing to spend.
