Thanks brothers who PM me n commented. Unfortunately turns of events cancelled that trip due to a brother.
Now latest update is flying to Shanghai on 13-16. Short trip but at least one step closer. Air ticket booked Liao.

Yes, true lah! My regular is from YH. She told me that on Sunday, none of the girls in her group had any customer. Same thing occurred to other groups as well. Many rooms are empty, even on a weekend, not all rooms are booked. Same thing is happening at MF too.

This trip I saw the most pattern from YH loh.. Even thot there is less customer the gals and KTV dun seems to bother. Haha

During golden week, most know that KTV business will be bad... But YH n OY still shouting for 2k min (normal day 880rmb) for small room during fri n sat. What a joke.

I told my agent, tell them normal rate if not they can fxxk off. Next min, price reduce for OY. wtf..

As for gals, still same, 不方便 a lot... No ppl pick, they also dun care. Maybe they have a lot of sugar daddy. Heehee.

Well... Cp prices have gone up a lot, but still is consider one of the lower price place in china and DG... That's the hard truth. China earning and spending power have caught up with the rest of world...

I think it's the attitube of the gals that is driving most of ppl away... As for prices, most of us still can afford even with the increase.

Last time call 4, now more ex Liao, call 2 or 3 loh.. And if mm no good, cut cost, ST loh..

1st time in CP that I spend 3 days sleeping alone out of 6 night trip... I'm even lazy to call up regulars... Haiz...

Actually what you say is true. My last trip something happened that pissed me off, there is one floor where the bed quality is really good and soft. So make sure you know which floor or room to stay in for good wifi and bed. But with the yanda going on and off last few months, Virgin SN actually moved into some of the floors (random) since their old building was shut off. So you can imagine the damage being done to the beds once they become SN room.

Room is old and small, so most tourist won't like it. BF sucks too. Lifts slow like hell... But it has its advantage.

Location is really good, with free transport like Huatai hotel. For that area, the price is actually cheap though it has been increasing like hell. Free DVD player and decent TV channels.

I visited my friend in Yihao and found the room to be better than Huihua or Miraton (at least newer). But unless I party in Yihao, I don't see much reason for me to stay there due to the location. Different people different stroke lah.

So my humble advice is, don't stay in Virgin hotel. Getting old and not really value for money unless you are a member there. A lot of newer hotels like Zhi Ben Hui, etc all not bad and value for money. Safety wise I don't know yet, so far friends no complain staying there.

One more thing on Virgin SN. Previously Virgin SN is something of the trend setter like Ouya for KTV, ie for increasing prices! LOL... however since late last year, it seems all other SNs having been grabbing girls like crazy. Huimei and Xiong Shi felt the damage and increased their prices respectively. So ironically, now Virgin SN is no more as expensive as Sns like Fuhao, Huatai, YH, Miraton, OY, HMTL, etc. Anyway just my observation which might not be true.

Yeah confirm KTV business been really bad all over, as for those meimei. The good attitude ones will not really feel it as repeat customers will always go back find them.

It's those pretty but bad attitude meimei who rely on customer first time pick them not knowing abt their attitude but only rely on their good looks. Those are the ones who are going to suffer !! And I say... let them SUFFER....wahahaha

No suan lah! Merely speaking the truth mah! I am surprised that you are even contemplating changing from your favourite hotel to a further up the street to 资本会. You have been staying there for such a long time liao. Aiyah! Guest rooms in YH, MIRATON and HUIHUA are definitely much better than Virgin Hotel's, I even consider MF's guest rooms are one of the best in term of value for money but we are talking about Zhong Yuan Street area. IMO - for Virgin Hotel, only the sauna is worth visiting.

During the Golden Week - traditionally, business is always bad. Many factories are closed hence less people around to spend and less customers to entertain. Last night, I chatted with one YH girl. She even told me she had to picked and chose 2 customers before settling for the last one. I was like WTF! Business is bad and still pick customers. What is CP and the meimei's attitude becoming?
